Sometimes, when patients want to come to Guangzhou from Xi'an or other places to see a doctor, Zhong Nanshan tells patients that they don't have to run so far. He introduced the patient to a local doctor, and asked the patient to seek medical treatment and prescribe medicines in the local area.
He said that the hospital does this, and we will have a little less income from arranging local medical treatment, but we have to consider it for the patient. Sometimes, when patients don't have money, doctors try to provide a simple treatment for patients; more importantly, doctors must teach patients how to use drugs.
Everything from the perspective of the patient, everything for the purpose of treating the disease and saving people, by no means limited to his own profession, is the consistent style of Elder Zhong. As long as he encounters problems other than respiratory diseases, he will organize doctors from different disciplines to consult and solve them.
