Refusal to eat wild game and refuse to buy wildlife products.
Illegal hunting and acquisition of wild animals can be sentenced to more than 10 years in prison!
On February 24, 2020, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress voted to adopt a decision on completely banning illegal wildlife trade, eliminating the bad habit of indiscriminately eating wild animals, and effectively protecting the people's life, health and safety. A system of total prohibition of the consumption of wild animals has been established. Those who violate the existing laws and regulations shall be punished more severely on the basis of the existing laws.
