20211024 The Story of the Little Fox 06: The Wild Goose

author:Shizuya Thoughts

The little fox lives on a mountain range. Every year the geese pass by here. In fact, every year, the geese fly from the far north to the south, and then fly back from the south to the north.

The little fox and the wild goose became friends. The wild goose will tell the little fox about the endless grasslands, the unimaginable vast sea, the sparkling rivers and lakes, the lofty mountains, the farmers, the hunters. The little fox is very fond of the wild goose.

The little fox asked Hongyan, "How far do you have to fly in a year?" "How many thousands of miles?" Tens of thousands of miles? Hongyan wasn't sure.

The little fox asked Hongyan, "Why are you flying so far?" "Why?" Why not fly? I love flying. Hongyan replied.

The little fox asked Hongyan, "You can stay here, there are four distinct seasons here, but there is no wind and sand on the plateau in spring, no dampness of plum rain in summer, no lingering autumn rain in autumn, and no bitter cold wind in winter." There are mountains and water, and there is plenty of food. Stay. "Hahaha~" Hongyan replied.

Every year when the goose was leaving, the little fox would say this. Hongyan will always leave a hearty laugh and fly to continue the long journey with his companions.

But this year, Hongyan really stayed. So the little fox and the wild goose spent a pleasant summer together. They often frolicked by the lake, fishing, watching the sunset, from time to time there were carp raised on the lake, watching the evening wind blowing, reeds fluttering, going to visit beavers together, and sitting next to Grandpa Pine.

With the advent of autumn, the geese became more and more silent. Hongyan always stared at the blue sky and didn't say a word. The little fox was worried, but he didn't know what to do.

Finally, on a late autumn morning, the geese flew away and flew into the distance. The little fox climbed to the top of the mountain, looked at the blue sky, and thought that the wild goose would come back next year.
