The two-week pre-hospital first-aid internship is coming to an end, and with the burning enthusiasm ignited by the first internship, I recall the bits and pieces of first aid in the pre-hospital for two weeks, under the stars, in the clear cold wind at night, tired and full, excited and moved. I am enriched by my own growth, and I am even more touched by the professionalism of the emergency department teachers and the high respect for life.

Like the "first time" that was often used in my childhood essays, I also experienced a lot of first experiences during the two weeks of my internship in the emergency department. The first time I audited the patient's emergency diagnosis certificate, the first time I received the patient with the teachers, the first time I saw the real patient recovery... Step by step, one journey, under the careful guidance of all the teachers, I experienced the process from infancy to self-confidence.

Life is precious, I will never forget the scene when the emergency department teachers rescued a high-altitude falling patient: the patient fell from a high altitude, transferred from the outer courtyard to our hospital emergency department, at this time three hours have passed since the accident, although the patient has no breathing and heartbeat when he is sent to the hospital, the pupils have been dilated, although the emergency hall is still crowded that day, but after admission, the triage teacher immediately opened a green channel for the patient's life, without delaying even a second. The patient was immediately pushed to the resuscitation area, and the teachers in the rescue room still coordinated and cooperated, and various rescue measures were taken quickly and efficiently to save the patient's life. When it was found that cardiopulmonary resuscitation and extracardiac compressions were not enough to save the patient's life, the teachers did not hesitate for a moment and immediately performed tracheal intubation for the patient, while other teachers established intravenous access to provide patients with some body fluid replenishment and the application of rescue drugs... On the way to race against death, time passes minute by minute, perhaps it has passed the rescue time, but no one has given up, no one has stopped. In order to ensure the quality of chest compression, the teachers are one after another, the connection is tight, the teachers have been insisting, the "didi" sound sounded, the ECG monitor has a weak waveform, the sound of life falls like a war drum in everyone's heart, and the teachers continue to carry out various rescue work in an orderly manner. Soon, a continuous waveform appeared on the ECG monitor, and the patient's oxygen saturation gradually picked up. Gradually, the patient's skin color turned significantly rosy, and after stopping the extracardiac compression, the ECG also had a sustained and stable waveform, and the blood pressure slowly rose. Everyone was relieved, but this was not the end of the rescue, the teachers in the rescue room did not stop for a moment, immediately contacted the intensive care ICU, and closely escorted the patient to the intensive care ICU to provide patients with continuous advanced life support.

The hospital is a place of life, some people are happy, some people are sad. The emergency department is the window of the hospital, and in this window, I see the teachers' high professional quality and emphasis on life, and their passion for nursing and first aid. It is said that the passion retreats is endlessly plain, but with the belief in life, the teachers of the emergency department will always have this passion forever, forever!
