In the practice of creation for many years, Zhu Yongde has always paid attention to the accumulation of experience and theoretical research, and has published many treatises such as "Several Issues On Shooting Real Scenes" in influential domestic journals.

Zhu Yongde graduated from Shanghai Film College in 1962. In an interview with a Chinese film report in 2019, he said that engaging in the film industry is the result of inadvertent willow insertion, and along the way, he is also constantly learning from his predecessors and colleagues. Zhu Yongde cooperated with director Zhao Huanzhang in more scenes, and when he filmed "Our Cow Hundred Years Old", he learned that art should have a bottom of life.

When filming "Wrangler" with Xie Jin, Xu Lingjun's home was built on the set, and Zhu Yongde asked to build a top, not only to have walls on all four sides, but also to have a top. Later, the wedding scene was also outside Xu Lingjun's house, and Zhu Yongde wanted to treat the scene into warm colors, showing a very lively and crowded effect, so he asked the artist to set up a scene in the studio. The artist thought that Zhu Yongde would have to build four walls and a top, and Zhu Yongde said, "You just need to give me two walls." After filming, Xie Jin was also very satisfied with it.
