Netflix announced that "I Want to End It All" will go live on September 4

Novel "I Want to End It All"
"I Want to End It All" is based on Ian Reed's novel of the same name, which tells the story of Jack driving his girlfriend to meet his parents who live on a remote farm, but Jack's girlfriend has other plans and wants to end it all the way. When Jack unexpectedly takes a detour, she gets into trouble, a palpable mixture of tension, vulnerability, and fear. Jesse Plemmons plays Jack, Jesse Buckley plays Jack's girlfriend, and David Hurris and Toni Collette play Jack's parents.
The film's director of photography is Polish cinematographer Lukas Zal, who was twice nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for "Sister Ida" and "The Cold War", which is his first collaboration with Charlie Kaufmann, and the style of photography in "I Want to End It" will presumably be different from Kaufman's previous works.
