The fairy tale writer we are most familiar with is Hans Christian Andersen in Denmark, from the most widely circulated "The Little Girl Who Sold Matches", "The Emperor's New Clothes", to "Thumbelina" and "The Ugly Duckling", several of his fairy tales have been heard by almost everyone.
The second is the folk literature "Grimm's Fairy Tales" collected by the two German brothers, mainly represented by stories such as "Snow White", "Cinderella" and "Little Red Riding Hood".
These stories have been made into animation and live-action versions, and the live-action movies produced by Disney have very strong representative characteristics, strong IP, and are very eye-catching.
The scenes and stories of live-action performances have a strong sense of substitution, leaving the audience with more room for imagination, which will make people have a beautiful yearning for such stories, and even when "Disney" is mentioned, they will think of such beautiful stories as "Beauty and the Beast" and "Cinderella".
After watching the movie "He's the Dragon," I do think that the movie has some Disney-specific elements in a way, like Beauty and the Beast, and the dangerous story is full of fairy tales.
"He is a Dragon" is a Russian fantasy film about a girl who is about to marry Mira, who is abducted by the evil dragon Arman and later falls in love with her.
Just by looking at the name of the film, I feel that there is a certain fantasy color, and the live-action version makes such a fantasy color full of charm.
But the style of painting at the beginning of the film is very gloomy and dark.
When Mila got married, she followed the local tradition of being personally sent by her parents to a boat that could accommodate only one person in an ancient village covered in white snow.
She lay here dressed as a bride, through a slow-flowing black river, greeted with anticipation by her future husband.
Prior to this, this elevated village had to sacrifice beautiful girls to the dragon through this "marriage" method every specific period.

Although it has some fantasy colors and dark painting style, the film as a whole is not afraid, and the narrative process is very quiet and slow.
The appearance of the heroine and the male protagonist is a highlight of the film, and the scenery picture presented by the camera in the later stage and the life of Mira and Arman on the isolated island is even more beautiful.
Such a movie is actually difficult to compare with "Disney", Disney's big IP is famous, special effects and story prototypes are also deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the characters are more abundant.
And "He is a Dragon" saw the end, making people forget the dark horror of using young girls to sacrifice to the dragon in the early stage.
The film is narrated in the form of a storyteller, very similar to the narrative of the French version of Beauty and the Beast.
However, the fairytale happy ending in the end made the audience seem to have a dangerous and charming love affair with the heroine, and there is still something to taste after watching it.
In the ordinary as usual life, most people always have a certain curiosity about this kind of story with fantasy elements.
This is also the source of the popularity of big IPs and big-budget stories like Disney's live-action films and the Harry Potter series.
However, I still hope that when creating such film and television works in the later stage of the market, we can learn from the strengths of previous works and have more breakthroughs.
