Conservation point 1: Rhododendron acid

In fact, this is related to the soil, rhododendron it likes acidic soil, if the soil is alkaline, it will "lose its temper".
So what to do to get an acidic soil. Every household will use white vinegar bar, which can be used to adjust the pH of the soil in addition to the function of seasoning!
Each time you water the rhododendrons, put a few drops of white vinegar into the water to get an acidic soil.
Of course, if it is a friend who is planted on the ground or is troublesome, you can bury sulfur powder in the soil, and the sulfur powder will be oxidized after being buried, which can also make it become acidic.
Conservation point 2: Fertilization
Rhododendron is a plant that is very fond of fertilizer, but it is easy to appear fat. Fertilizing azaleas must comply with the "thin fertilizer and diligent application", otherwise it will not be worth the loss because of improper fertilization and death caused by fertilizer injuries!
It's the flowering season for azaleas, and I mix the cake with water and mix it with the azaleas. Cake fertilizer can provide nutrients for rhododendrons, so that the nutrients needed for flowering can be guaranteed.

A single flower of rhododendrons can bloom for a long time, but once they fail, they need to be cut off to avoid nutrient shunting and inhibiting flower formation later.

After the pruning is not done, the water and fertilizer management can be done at the end of June and the flowers can be opened again, so that the flowering time can be extended.
Conservation point 4: Pests and diseases
After three years of rhododendron cultivation, I found that it is very prone to red spiders and brown spot disease, especially during the rainy season, which needs to be managed.
The red spider is a leaf mite that sucks up the sap of the plant, which does not cause death, but can seriously affect its photosynthesis, resulting in a decrease in flowering.
Brown spot disease has a large area of brown to dark brown spots, and death will occur in severe cases! So don't take it lightly.
Red spiders are sprayed with avermectin once a week, three or four times in a row. Remember to spray the leaf back, which is the hardest hit area for red spiders.
In the case of brown spot disease, spray 800 times liquid methyl tolbuzin or 1000 times liquid leaf spot to kill, once in 10 days, and spray 2 to 3 times in a row to see the effect.
