In recent years, I heard that in Wenshi Stone Forest, a new investment has been made, a large road has been built, and the environment has been improved to a certain extent, so I have the heart to look at it again.
Seven years have passed, and I don't know what has changed now?
On Sunday, February 28, 2021, from the national highway in Wenshi, a wide cement road took us to a flat land.
When we first arrived, it was raining, causing us to stay in the car for more than ten minutes, and when the rain stopped a little, we got out of the car.
There are several large trees on the flat ground, and several flower beds have been built in between, and some lawns have been laid out, which can be used as parking lots.
On the flat side, a new building is built, which is the office building of the xiyi village committee.
The tall tree has no leaves, its branches are bare, and it is printed on the gray sky, like a Chinese ink painting made by a master.

According to the above, the current Shicheng Temple was built on the original site, and there is a stone stele in the original temple, which reads "In order to cultivate the beauty of the stone forest mountain view, a Stone City Temple House is specially rebuilt and restored on the foundation of the original temple, so as to give tourists who come and go to visit the stone forest scenery to shelter from wind and rain and rest for the gods."
But the temple is really too small.
Follow the trail up the mountain and admire the rocks on the far side of the mountain, like eight immortals crossing the sea, each with its own demeanor.

On this side of the box, the top of the mountain faintly looks like a stone forest.

I saw that there were stone pillars at the mouth of the cave, the height of the column was about four or five meters, the base of the column was irregularly shaped, and the middle of the upper column was large, and the two ends were small, like a giant spindle, so I ordered it to be spindle stone.
The world is full of beauty, half by nature, half by name. Therefore, there are often myths through chisels, true Yes? Fake yeah? True and false, false and true, who will cite the scriptures to study hard? The mind understands god, and the truth is false, and it can only be understood and cannot be said to be true.
There are scenes in the yang, real, few stories, in vain and without its gods, and the name is not prominent.
If this stone shape is like a spindle, it is related to the weaving fabric, can it be related to the cowherd weaver girl? It is possible to organize the literati rioters in the county, develop brain holes, and compose a beautiful mythological story.
There are many stacked stones here, which are all kinds of shapes, and they are the essence of the stone forest.
The rocky cat-like tiger, like a horse-like dog, deposited on the seabed for thousands of years, and after ten thousand years of frozen carving, it was finally honed into this shape and presented to the world.
Next to it stood a badge called "Pegasus Crossing the Sky".

The first time I visited the stone forest, I went down another trail, and after going down the mountain, I walked back to the parking lot, and there was a distance of three or four kilometers, which was very inconvenient. Now the newly built road, a short walk down the hill, you can go to the parking lot.

The rocks on the crevices of the stones are obviously not innate, like one by one, and I don't know what year and month, the rocks will fall?
From this point of view, the rock in front of you does not look like the eight precepts of the pig who has just married a new wife and danced with joy?

The trees at the bottom of the hill are where we parked.
On the stone platform in front of it, a slightly smaller boulder is placed.
This boulder looks a lot like a crown.
If you want to add some Chinese characteristics, it may be that the Tang monks take off their hats here to pay tribute.

Coming down the mountain, I did not take the same path, but chose another path.
Spring water emerges from the foot of the rocky mountain, forming a small stream.
Not far down, at the foot of the tree, is the stone arch bridge we once walked.
The stream emerges from this place, surrounded by stones, and circled into a well for easy washing.
On the rock by the well, there is also a piece of red paper, and there are traces of firecrackers around it, can there be fairies in the well, and someone worships here?
Next to the path, I found two stone tablets on a boulder.
This stele is named "Zhu Tianyan Forbidden Monument".
The inscription says: The source of the rock head of the Wu tribe, the spiritual source, although it has been restored several times, there are two leaks....
The next thing is to repair the two leaks, and I won't finish it.
Luo Qian is a few Yi people with the surname wen. The time is the year of C, and it is speculated that it is 1916.
This stone stele, titled "Forbidden Stele", has a long history of text, and some of the words have been illegible. The general idea is that the spring water under this Zhutian rock should be protected and repaired every year, and the spring water can only be used to irrigate the fields and so on. The payment was made in the early years of Jiaqing, that is, in 1796.

The name is Zhu Tianyan, but what is the origin?
There is no record of this rock in the county records.
There is also a stone stele on the side of the road, named "Zhutianyan Water Source Forbidden Monument", which was paid in the ninth year of Guangxu, that is, in 1883.
