This morning, the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences conducted a germplasm sampling survey at the Shaohua Pearl Farm in Wangzhai Town, which is also the first time that the center has done germplasm sampling surveys in Wuyi. Wen Haibo, director of the Aquaculture Research Office of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, introduced that the production of Wuyi spinnaker mussels and pearl seedling mussels has an important position in the country, and this time wuyi to conduct a census of germplasm resources from the basic situation of the farm, water quality conditions, the basic situation of germplasm, as well as morphology, quality and genetics, to comprehensively understand the status of spinnaker mussel germplasm resources, collect high-quality germplasm, lay the foundation for the cultivation of new varieties, and pave the way for the strategy of good breeding of spinnaker mussels.
