People's Online Hai, October 16 (Ma Zuopeng) Recently, in the 7th China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition National Finals, the project "Children's Class: World-class Children's Book Creators" declared by the School of Journalism of Fudan University won the gold award. This is the first time that the School of Journalism of Fudan University has won the award since the Ministry of Education held the competition, and it is also the second time that Fudan University has won a gold medal in three years.

According to the relevant person in charge of the School of Journalism of Fudan University, the "Children's Class: World-class Children's Book Creator" project is the only cultural and creative project of the main track of higher education in Shanghai that has won the gold medal this year, and the original team of children's books is guided by Professor Zhang Dawei of the School of Journalism of Fudan University, and Yang Junyao, an undergraduate student of the class of 2017, serves as the student leader. The project actively gives full play to the talent advantages of the School of Journalism, fully practices the academy motto of "good learning and practice", with the deep participation of experts from various disciplines in Fudan, relying on the innovation and entrepreneurship base built by Fudan University, to form a national children's book creation alliance, and strive to solve the dilemma of insufficient originality of Chinese children's books.

According to the above-mentioned person in charge, the project has not won gold awards in many scientific and technological projects. Adhering to the concept of "the school has walls, but knowledge does not have walls; let excellent people lead the next generation to become better people", the team's achievements in the field of children's book originality have been fully affirmed by peers and judges. The project is now incubated in the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Fudan University, has been supported by fudan-Yunfeng entrepreneurship fund, and has signed multiple sets of publishing contracts with a number of first-class children's publishing houses, and will cooperate in the development of original children's book IP derivatives in the future.
The Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is an important measure to implement the requirements of the Ministry of Education for practical education, which has always been highly valued by domestic colleges and universities, and has become an important carrier for colleges and universities to deepen the reform of double creation education.
So far, China's "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held for seven sessions. The competition was held in Nanchang University, with more than 2.28 million projects from 121 countries and regions at home and abroad, 4347 colleges and universities, and more than 9.56 million people registered for the competition, with an increase of 55% in the number of projects and a 51% increase in the number of participants.
