Sailing is known as "the cleanest and most environmentally friendly" sport, which is highly consistent with Gaochun's concept of ecological priority and green development, and as a highly ornamental leisure sport, sailing coincides with Gaochun's vision of building a leisure sports city.
The event was jointly sponsored by the Nanjing Municipal Sports Bureau and the People's Government of Nanjing Gaochun District, and hosted by the Nanjing Gaochun District Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Nanjing Sailing and Windsurfing Association.
