The Age of Comic Strips: The Story of Simberdah's Seven Voyages

Sinboda was born into the family of a wealthy merchant in Baghdad. When he was young, his father died, and when Sinboda grew up, he spent money with a group of friends, and by the time Sinboda woke up, there was little left of the family.

Simboda used the remaining assets to purchase goods and, together with several other merchants, crossed the sea and went to do business in distant places.

First Voyage:

At sea, Sinboda and other merchants boarded a beautiful island. However, while they were cooking on the fire, the "island" fell.

It turned out that this was not an "island", but a big fish. The heat of cooking over a fire makes the fish swim.

The captain fled to the ship, while Sinboda fell into the sea with his friends.

Sinboda grabbed a wooden box and drifted to an island nation.

The king of the island was sympathetic to Simboda's plight, and after some consolation, sent Sinboda to run the port.

One day, Sinbod discovered that his previous ship had passed through the harbor, and the captain recognized Sinbodah and returned the cargo to Sinboda.

Sinboda picked a valuable gift to offer to the king, and the king gave back "the gift."

Sinboda sold the goods, bought a large amount of local products, and returned with a full load.

Since then, Sinboda has lived a life of affluence.

Second Voyage:

Soon, Sinboda crossed the ocean for the second time to do business.

Passing by a beautiful island, Sinboda fell asleep on the island while the merchant ship drove away.

On the desolate island, Sinboda first saw a huge circular white building, and then encountered a kind of condor, which was so huge that it fed on elephants.

After the condor landed, Sinboda tied himself to the condor's leg with a turban, and the condor took Simber to a plateau.

On the plateau, Sinboda saw many diamonds, but also many pythons.

Suddenly, a large piece of lamb fell from the sky.

Sinboda understood that someone wanted to stick diamonds with lamb, and Sinboda picked up many diamonds and tied himself to the lamb.

After a while, the vulture appeared, grabbed the lamb and flew to the top of the mountain, and suddenly, the merchant appeared, beating the gong and drum, scaring the vulture away and abandoning the lamb.

Sinboda gave some of his diamonds to the merchants, and then exchanged other diamonds for goods to sell, making a lot of money, and when he returned to Baghdad, his relatives and friends envied Sinbad's good fortune.

Third Voyage:

Soon, Sinboda went to sea again.

Unfortunately, the fierce wind and waves blew the merchant ships to the Ape Man Mountain, where the ape people ate human flesh and were savage and murderous. A boat of people is trapped in The Ape Man Mountain and has to live in a building full of dead human bones.

Suddenly, from the upper floor of the building came down a huge black giant, and the giant grabbed the people inside the building one by one in the palm of his hand, and on closer inspection, Sinboda was too thin to be abandoned. The giant chose the fat captain to kill, put it on the fire and roasted it, like a roast duck, and ate it in a long way.

The next day, the giant roasted another man and ate it.

Everyone was so frightened that when the giant was asleep, they poked the blind giant's eyes with a red-hot iron fork. The giant screamed and went away, bringing two more accomplices, and the group ran away without a life, escaping on the bamboo raft prepared in advance.

There were many pythons on the island, and Sinboda's two accomplices were devoured.

Sinboda tied himself up with wood, and the python could not swallow it.

Soon, Sinboda encountered a merchant ship on his second voyage to sea, and the captain and the merchants on Diamond Hill recognized him and returned the goods to Sinboda.

Sinboda sold his goods, made a fortune, and returned to Baghdad to live a prosperous life.

Fourth Voyage:

On this voyage, Sinboda's ship was capsized by a hurricane.

Sinboda and several companions grabbed a boat board and drifted to a planted island. The king of the island, Uru, is good at human flesh.

Ulu entertained Sinboda and his companions with good food and coconut oil, and as a result, the companions all became stupid and became the king's mouth food. Sinboda did not eat food due to his physical discomfort and took a chance to quietly leave.

Sinboda traveled for eight days and came to another country.

The king was intrigued by Sinboda's experience and asked Sinboda to tour the capital. Sinboda found that the people here rode without saddles, and Sinboda made a pair of saddles to offer to the king. After the king tried the ride, he was satisfied, rewarded Sinboda heavily, and promised a beautiful woman to Sinboda as his wife.

Soon after, his wife fell ill and died. According to local custom, her husband Sinboda was to accompany the funeral.

Simboda, along with his dead wife, was thrown into a deep hole, the entrance of which was sealed with a large stone. Fortunately, there was some food and water in the funerary items, and Sinboda survived for some days.

One day, Sinboda saw a beast in the cave, and he escaped from the cave with the beast. It turned out that the beasts had come to eat the dead.

Sinboda collected some valuable jewelry from the dead and fled to another mountain. Sinboda sat on the beach every day, calling for passing ships, and finally one day was rescued and returned to Baghdad.

Sinboda they landed on the island after a second voyage.

The sailors saw the huge circular white building, and Sinboda knew it was a condor egg, but the sailors didn't know it, and they smashed the condor egg and pulled out the kitty.

Sinboda tried to stop them, but it was too late, and they had to flee.

Two condors retaliated by dropping boulders and hitting their merchant ships. They all fell into the sea, and Sinboda grabbed a boat board and drifted to another island.

On this island, Sinboda encounters a devil, the Sea Old Man.

The sea old man drank and fell to the ground, and Sinboda lifted a large stone and smashed the sea old man to death and fled.

One day, Sinboda is rescued and comes to Monkey City with a boat.

The people of Monkey City go to the sea at night to spend the night and hide from monkeys. After Simboda became acquainted with the locals, they invited Sinboda to enter the mountain during the day, pretending to attack the monkeys in the trees with stones, and the monkeys picked the coconuts on the trees and fought back.

As a result, Sinboda stores large amounts of coconut.

Sinboda took a merchant ship and set out with coconuts, buying coconuts along the way, buying goods, and exchanging coconuts for a large number of pearls.

Sinboda grabbed a boat board and drifted to a desert island.

Sinboda made a small boat of her own and drifted on the river on a desert island. Due to hunger, he passed out. When he woke up, he had been rescued to a beautiful local city.

A kind-hearted old man received Sinboda.

He bought Sinboda's boat at a great price, and it turned out that the material of this boat was sandalwood, which was very expensive.

At the beginning of each month, the locals grow wings and fly into the air. Sinboda was curious and begged a local to take him to heaven. Suddenly, they encountered flames in the sky, and they quickly avoided them and landed on the high mountains.

The locals believed that Sinboda was a disaster star and left him alone on the barren mountain.

Desperate, Sinboda encounters two lovely children, each carrying a golden staff. One of the children gave Sinboda a golden wand.

Soon, Sinboda encounters a python eating man, and he kills the python with a golden staff, saving a local car who drives Sinboda back home.

When his wife saw him return, she was very happy and said: Many people here have contact with the devil, and it is not appropriate to stay for long.
