With the birth and growth of the child, the old husband and wife are also slowly accustomed to the transition from intimate lovers to fathers and mothers.

His son A-sho (Irie Shii) starts a family and soon after moves with his wife to Fukushima. Returning to the world of the two, Yohei and Miyoko reminisce about the past and talk about the wine, and before miyoko, she gets drunk. The wife fell into a deep sleep, and Yang Ping accidentally found a divorce application on the bookshelf, and the relevant information in the wife column had already been filled out by Miyoko. As a teacher, Yang Ping works seriously, is decent and honest, pays her monthly salary to Miyoko, has no bad habits in life, and looks like an ideal husband who cannot be found with a lantern. Ask yourself, Yang Ping has never found any discordant factors in the life of the couple. He had all kinds of questions in his mind, but in the end he couldn't muster up the courage to ask the other party, and he could only be sullen alone. One day, he tells his unhappiness to his friend Igarashi Mazuru (Miho Kanno) in the cooking classroom, and the other party hints that Miyoko may have married a new couple, which undoubtedly adds to Yang Ping's heart.

The calm life suddenly rippled, Yang Ping examined the correctness of his past life, while secretly observing the posture and words and deeds of the parents of the students and the housewives of the cooking classroom, trying to find unknown answers, but in the process his confusion continued to deepen. Tidbits

Based on Shigematsu Kiyoshi's original novel Family Restaurant (ファミレス), the film was written and directed by Kazuhiko Yukawa, and is the first film directed by the famous screenwriter Kazuhiko Yukawa. He said that screenwriting was only the second job he wanted to do, and that directing was his ultimate dream.

It was released on 316 screens in Japan at the same time, ranking fourth in its first week and sixth in audience satisfaction. Two days before the premiere, about 85,500 people were mobilized, and the box office revenue was about 150 million yen. The film was invited to the 2016 Montreal International Film Festival Debut Competition Division.

The theme song and interlude is based on Takuro Yoshida's 1971 single "Today", "Today", which was published by Takuro Yoshida, and appeared in the 2001 film version of Crayon Shin-chan. Kazuhiko Yukawa claims to be touched by the lyrics, and the end of the film arranges for all the actors to sing the song together.

Kazuhiko Yukawa says that he was not a peaceful child since he was a child, and he likes to make people laugh in various ways, when his mother asserted that "you can definitely become a film director." Now Yukawa can be said to have come true as a dream, and her mother, who is in her nineties, was fortunate to see this scene.

At first, Kazuhiko Yukawa was only invited by the producer to write the script, and the other party asked if he could write a script for the original novel, and he replied, "It can be written, but there are many things to change." After handing over the work, he also specifically asked who would be the director, but his heart shouted, "Find me!" Say it! Find me! ”

・Counting this play, Tenkai Yuki cooperated with Kazuhiko Yukawa four times, the first three times being the TV series "The Queen's Classroom" (2005), "The Queen of Singing" (2007) and "Couple in Disguise" (2015) written by Yukawa. Tenkai is extremely honored to be able to participate in Yukawa's film debut.

Due to the large time span of this play, Kazuhiko Yukawa thinks that it is too unreliable to let Abe Hiroshi and Tenkai Yuki play the male and female protagonists of the high school era, he has seen Hayami Akari before, and at that time he felt that Akari and the girl's generation of Tenkai Yuki were somewhat similar.

Hearing that she was going to play the role of a young Miyoko, Hayami Akira was worried because Yuki Tenkai gave her a strong impression. When it came to actual contact, it was found that the back of Tianhai was very straight and handsome. Therefore, I feel that if I want to become a confident girl, it is not okay not to have close contact with Tianhai.

・This film is the first comeback since Miho Kanno and Masato Sakai married and gave birth, and during the pre-shooting, she often used the gap between scenes to run to feed the child and change the diaper. Erlang Sato, who played her husband, praised, "Being able to be a husband for Kanno is really the treasure of my life." ”

Sato Erlang blew himself up as a wife-phobic family, and he often bought drunk at Takaenji Temple, so angry that his wife issued a ban on Takaenji Temple, and even moved because of it. But Sato will also borrow the name of filming to run there, his wife for this reason to check his work credits on the Internet, even the wrong name of "Sato Jiro" will be searched.

On the day of the premiere, Kazuhiko Yukawa's wife also came to cheer and wrote a letter full of love and gratitude. In the process of reading the letter, Yukawa's eye sockets were moist for a while, and Erlang Sato on the side quipped, "You can cry a little, everyone can understand." The result made the director laugh.

Junko Tomiji, who plays Miyamoto's mother in the film, has been married to Kabuki artist Kikugoro Ogami for 45 years. In one interview, she taught Kazuhiko Yukawa the experience of getting along with couples for Kazuhiko Yukawa, who had only been married for two years.
