In Erjia Village, Wantan Township, with the loss of population in recent years, there are only 17 families and 27 people in the village, and the villagers mainly rely on farming to make a living. In order to improve the quality of life of villagers, Erjia Village introduced Hubei Xiyou Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., in the way of "resources into assets" and "funds into shares", set up a professional cooperative, attracting farmers from 6 surrounding villages to participate in the development of the group, with an annual rent of 800 yuan per mu, a total of more than 1,000 mu of land, 210 greenhouses, and 2 expansion of cold storage. At present, relying on the characteristic industry of asparagus planting, Erjia Village has guided local farmers to vigorously develop greenhouse agriculture according to local conditions, and has formed a large-scale asparagus, vegetable moss, tomato and other greenhouse economy, of which the daily output of asparagus is nearly 2,000 jin, and the income of villagers has steadily increased.
