The opening ceremony of the 2021 Graduate Graduation Exhibition of the School of Photography of Beijing Film Academy was held on May 18 in the first floor hall of Building A of Beijing Film Academy.

The exhibition brings together the learning achievements of 12 graduate students majoring in photo photography creation in the 2021 class of the School of Photography of Beijing Film Academy, and exhibits more than 170 works. This exhibition has the characteristics of diversified styles, long creative cycles, and wide geographical range of shooting, and integrates various forms of creation such as photographic works, photographic books, installations, and sounds. It shows the unique observations and reflections of contemporary college students on the development of the times, social vientiane, and hometown life.
Some authors closely follow the pulse of the development of the times, see the big with the small, and lead the face with the point. There are also authors who use macro perspectives to record the scene of the world; there are also authors who return to their homeland and return to their hometowns, looking back at their homes and inner worlds with a condensed and affectionate perspective. These fruitful and colorful creative achievements reflect the independent image pursuit of 12 graduate students, whether it is the photography of the present, the examination of reality, the gaze of the self, or the deconstruction of photography, which is a valuable attempt in the long road of creation.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Cao Wei, vice president of the School of Photography of Beijing Film Academy, and Song Jing, vice president of Beijing Film Academy and dean of Beijing Film Academy School of Photography, and Feng Xuankai, director of the Career Guidance Center of Beijing Film Academy, attended the opening ceremony. Vice President Hu Qiang, Song Jing and student representative Wei Keren spoke separately to express their good wishes to the students and their gratitude to their alma mater.
