He successively served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial PARTY Committee and director of the Organization Department, secretary of the Provincial Military Commission, and acting secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, participated in the organization and leadership of the Qingjian Uprising and the Weihua Uprising, was the pioneer of the Shaanxi Revolution, the founder of the Communist Party of Northern Shaanxi, and one of the founders of the Red Army and the Soviet Region in Northern Shaanxi.
