Ayumi Ito (born April 14, 1980 in Tokyo) is a Japanese film and television actor who belongs to The Avenue Office.
In 1993, Ito made his official debut as an actor by participating in the fantasy film "Water Traveler".
In 1996, she played the role of a stubborn young girl "Phoenix Butterfly" in the literary film "Swallowtail Butterfly" directed by Shunji Iwai, and at the age of sixteen, she won the Outstanding Actress Award and the Best Newcomer Award at the 20th Japan Academy Awards for this film.

In 2001, Ito again starred in Shunji Iwai's literary film "Everything About Lily Week", shaving his hair into a bald head to match the plot of the film; in the same year, he formed a five-member music group "Mean Machine" with singer Yuki and others.
