Xu Xiuzhong, whose worldview | emigrated overseas and is anti-China, is just a pawn

author:China Daily

In the past few days, a Chinese who has emigrated overseas has been picked up by many media.

Xu Xiuzhong, female, born in 1994 in Jiayuguan, Gansu, China, enrolled in the Communication University of China through independent enrollment channels, and then moved abroad. He currently works as an analyst at The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), which is known for its anti-China campaign.

Xu Xiuzhong, whose worldview | emigrated overseas and is anti-China, is just a pawn

It was this Xu Xiuzhong who wrote the report released by ASPI in March 2020. The report, titled "Uighurs for Sale, 'Re-Education', Forced Labor, and Surveillance Beyond Xinjiang," falsely claims that between 2017 and 2019, at least 80,000 Uighurs were forcibly transferred to factories in the interior to work, a "forced labour" of the Chinese government against Uighurs and an extension of the "re-education camp" policy.

The writing process of this report mainly relies on satellite imagery + Xu Xiuzhong's brain hole. For example, she found that a factory of Haoyuanpeng Garment Co., Ltd. in Shule had a security booth and a fence, and she reported that it was a "detention center" and that some people were "forced to work".

Through this method, many homes for the elderly, primary schools, and communities in Xinjiang have become "detention centers" in Xu Xiuzhong's pen, and the elderly, children, and residents in Xinjiang have unwittingly become "victims of forced labor." She also estimated that there are millions of people who are "forced to work"...

This nonsensical report can be said to be the initiator of the Western encirclement of Xinjiang cotton. The report was released on March 1, 2020, in the same March, when switzerland's BCI, under the banner of "good cotton," announced a moratorium on licensing cotton in the Xinjiang region.

Immediately afterwards, U.S. lawmakers began to use the report to hype and submit a Xinjiang-related bill to the U.S. Congress. On September 14, 2020, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Xinjiang-related bill by a vote of 406 to 3, and subsequently banned U.S. companies from importing four physical goods from Xinjiang, including cotton.

In October, BCI issued a statement on its official website to immediately stop all field activities in Xinjiang.

In the same month, H&M issued a statement on its official website to stop using cotton produced in Xinjiang. The statement discovered by our domestic netizens in late March is this one.

The gale began at the end of Qingping, and such a hater of the country was stunned to create such a big momentum in the field of anti-China public opinion.

After being taken off in the past few days, Xu Xiuzhong also became infamous in the domestic public opinion field. Many people in China called her "traitor" and "anti-China demon girl", and some people in Australia pulled out some of her behaviors that were very inconsistent with the moral standards of ordinary people and made a documentary.

Xu Xiuzhong, whose worldview | emigrated overseas and is anti-China, is just a pawn

Obviously, he is Chinese, but he has to do the anti-China business, and Xu Xiuzhong has been raised to the bottom and discredited this time, and he is not wronged at all.

But if you think about it, she is just a small piece of the Western anti-China chess game. As a pawn, Xu Xiuzhong only provided "spurious" shells, and the root cause is the collusion of the US and Western political and academic circles to contain China's attempts. The so-called Xinjiang issue is only one of the evil consequences of the current increasingly bad and deformed political ecology toward China; without the Xinjiang issue, they would also fabricate and hype other issues; without Xu Xiuzhong, there would have been Li Xiuzhong and Liu Xiuzhong.

What is good on the top will be worse for the bottom. Western politicians really control the power and resources of the Western world, and their preferences are bound to be pandered to by many people, and this Xu Xiuzhong is one of them. Even Zheng Guoen, another German who is engaged in anti-China business, is just a pawn, and he makes up lies because they can sell for a good price.

If "anti-China" is a big drama, then this Xu Xiuzhong is an actor who has been pushed to the forefront. The actress has her own problems, and the Western politicians who set the stage for her, invite her to the stage, and fool Western audiences to watch the play are the biggest behind-the-scenes black hands than her.

It is also what we need to be most vigilant about.
