Jeff Gobrun's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was in Thor 3: Twilight of the Gods, playing the eccentric Gao Tianzun.
But in fact, Jeff Gobrun almost starred in a Marvel movie a long time ago.
In 2003, Ang Lee made a Hulk in which Eric Barner was played, but before he decided to star, there were many actors who auditioned for it, and Jeff Goldblum was one of them.
In "Thor 3: Twilight of the Gods", Gao Tianzun's lines also quietly hint at this experience.
When Gao Tianzun introduced the Hulk, he said that the Hulk was "unique, no one can be like him", and said that he "felt a special connection with the Hulk".
