Hachimura's return to Washington is still likely to catch up with the remaining preseasons

On October 12, Beijing time, NBC news that since September 26, Wizards forward Yamura Lei has been leaving the team to deal with personal affairs. According to the latest news, Hachimura has returned to Washington. As long as the COVID-19 test is passed, the Japanese striker can join the team in training.

Although he has not trained with the team, Yamura may still be able to catch up with the two preseason games against the Raptors and Knicks. This season is quite critical for Yamura, as the 9th pick in 2019, he was able to negotiate a contract extension with the Wizards in advance after the end of the season.

Eight village bases have been the Wizards' starting big forwards for the past two years, and this season he will face competition from the likes of Garford, Harrell and Thomas Bryant. In the 105 games he played for the Wizards in the first two years of his career, Hachimura averaged 13.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. In the playoffs, Hachimura averaged 14.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
