He is the author of four volumes of the Records of The river and sea, twelve volumes of the Records of Calligraphy and Painting of Zhuangtaoge, two volumes of the "Thesis of Zhuangtaoge", and sixteen volumes of "Manuscripts of Eyelashes". In the early 1980s, the Shanghai Museum compiled a book entitled "The Seal of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters" and included the Twenty-two Seals of Pei's Family. Mr. Bo Qian is rich in collection and has connoisseurship, and when he encounters calligraphy and paintings, he must analyze them, and the context of the analysis is the Tao, and the hearers are all satisfied and convinced. He was erudite, knowledgeable, and his precise eyesight stemmed from years of experience that the average collector could not match. It is also because he is proud of his high talent and sharp edge that he has offended his superior, Cen Chunxuan, so that he has fled to Xinjiang.
The "Huo Qiu's Newly Compiled County Chronicle" says: "Bo Qian's lifelong love of calligraphy and painting, the collection is very rich, and has connoisseurship, the collection of calligraphy and paintings with three kinds of stamps ZhiQi pindi; one is the 'real pearl horse' belongs to the upper product; the second is 'Pei's treasure', which belongs to the middle product; the third is 'Bo Qian's jing eye', which belongs to the general." Its title of 'Pei's Four Treasures' refers to Wang Shigu's "Yellow River Valley Map", "Canal Map", "Three Kingdoms Wei", "Zhong Xuan Recommended Season Straight Table", and Wang Youjun's "Orchid Pavilion Sequence" falling into the water. ”
