The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is one of the regions with the highest altitude, the largest area of river wetlands, and the richest biodiversity and species in western China and even in the world. This is what humans consider to be a "forbidden area for life", but it has become a "wildlife kingdom" and is listed by the World Wide Fund for Nature as one of the 25 key biodiversity conservation areas in the world.
Since last year, the Wild Nature Tour has explored several wildlife viewing destinations on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and photographed a series of wonderful wildlife photographs.

Yunnan-Tibet Line
In the Shangri-La-Tacheng-Meili Snow Mountain-Tibet Rumei line connecting the northwest of Yunnan to the eastern part of Tibet, the beautiful natural scenery and rare wild animals coexist, which is the most worthwhile experience of nature travel in China.
Yunnan Tacheng Yunnan Golden Snub-nosed Monkey National Park, there are about 800 wild Yunnan golden snub-nosed monkeys. As a national first-level protected animal, this golden snub-nosed monkey, which is extremely difficult to see in the wild, can basically be seen in the protected area, and many natural behaviors can be observed. In the morning, you can see these cute primates foraging, playing between young monkeys and feeding between mother and child.
In the pasture near Muang Kham because of good ecological protection and abundant food, raising a large number of alpine meadow wildlife, one of the big stars is the Tibetan fox, because of its square face and sleepy-eyed expression known as the net red wild animal, our Jerry Shu Huang once photographed 14 Tibetan foxes in this pasture area in the dusk time of 3 hours, which shows the high density of Tibetan foxes here.
In addition, there are Himalayan marmots, plateau pikas, plateau rabbits, hairy-crowned deer, giant eagles, pheasants, and many birds also living in this area, which is easy to see.
In addition, there is a secret place near Muang Kham - Niguo Temple, which not only has beautiful natural scenery, but also one of the best destinations for wildlife photography, such as white horse chickens, blood pheasants, yellow-throated pheasants, Tibetan snow chickens, bearded vultures, rock sheep and other nationally protected animals are basically regular visitors here, and can be easily photographed.
Back at Shangri-La, you can also go bird watching in the Napa Sea, and if you're lucky, you can photograph rare birds such as black-necked cranes and black storks.

Ruoergai Grassland is a special area on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with an altitude of between 3300 meters and 3600 meters, also known as the Songpan Plateau, relative to the low-altitude areas in the central and eastern parts of China, it is a plateau, and relative to its minshan mountains in the east, Qionglai mountain in the south, Guoluo mountain in the west, AnimaQing mountain, xiqian mountain and xiqinling in the north, it is surrounded by mountains, and it is a basin on the plateau.
Ruoerge ecosystem is one of the key areas of biodiversity in China and one of the most abundant species in the alpine belt in the world. According to the preliminary investigation, there are 207 species of plants (including fungi) in the area, and 218 species of vertebrates, of which the national key protected wild animals include black-necked cranes, bearded vultures, vultures, giant swans, etc. More than 30 species, and it is one of the concentrated breeding areas of black-necked cranes, with a population of about 480.

Qinghai Dulan
Qinghai Dulan is part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, located in the southeast of Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, and is known as the "oasis" of Qaidam and the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. With magnificent snowy mountains and vast alpine meadows, it is a paradise for wildlife on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, especially cats such as snow leopards and rabbits, which have a high probability of encountering, and the Gouli Township here is also the location of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wildlife Research Station.

Coco Ciri
Coco Xili National Nature Reserve is the 51st World Heritage Site in China, with an area of 4.5 million hectares, it is one of the largest and highest nature reserves in China, with rich wildlife resources. Coco Siri maintains an intact pristine ecosystem and is home to more than 230 species of wildlife, including wild yaks, Tibetan wild donkeys, wolves, brown bears, plateau pikas, alpine vultures, Tibetan foxes, Himalayan marmots and Tibetan antelopes.
The Tibetan antelope, which was once poached and nearly extinct because of the "Shatush", has almost become a symbol of Coco Siri. The entrance to the Coco Siri Reserve still houses statues of environmental warriors like Sonandaj.
Under the Jade Everest, the mysterious Tibetan wild donkeys sometimes travel alone, sometimes in groups, and no one knows where they are going.
This is no ordinary yak, but a pure wild yak, which can be distinguished by their forward-growing horns. Be sure to keep your distance when watching, as wild yaks are very grumpy and will attack everything close to living things, including cars!
Of course, traces such as Tibetan hartebeest, goose-throated antelope and wild wolves can also be seen here.
Coco Siri is also one of the largest no-man's lands in China, with a treacherous natural environment but a unique natural landscape, and is regarded as a paradise for explorers and scientific expeditions.
