Recently, Xiaobian learned from the forestry department of Binchuan County that due to successive years of drought, in the forest areas where Yunnan pine growth is concentrated in The Houshan of Gudihuihuihuihuilong Village in Pingchuan Town, which is above 1800 meters above sea level in our county, Chenjiashan of Pingchuan Village Committee, Yuqianglang Houshan of Kangning Village Committee, etc., has occurred to varying degrees in the forest areas where new pine leaf bee larvae nibble on pine needles, which has seriously affected the growth of trees.
Neospermosa is a genus of hymenoptera, broad-loin suborder, and insects of the family Pine leaf bee, and is one of the world's forest pests. In China, it is mainly distributed in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and other places, mainly endangering Yunnan pine.
Neomassonum eggs are mostly yellow and bottom-shaped, about 0.80 mm long and 0.20 mm wide. The larvae are 20–25 mm long, with a dark brown head, dark green or orange-red and yellow bodies, a narrow dorsal line and light color and dark longitudinal stripes on both sides; 3 small links in each section, each small ring generates a column of spiny hairs, 2 sets of small black dotted spiny hairs near the base of the foot; the ventral surface is yellow-green or red, and the gastropods are green or red.
When an insect infestation occurs, the pine conifers will be eaten up, leaving only the base and burning, which will cause the pine tree to grow short and budding the following year, and the growth of the tree will be weak. In severe cases, it will even cause a large area of Yunnan pine to dry up and die.
For the effective control of neoleaf bee insect infestation. Recently, the Forestry Bureau of Binchuan County raised a special control fund of 40,000 yuan to seize the favorable opportunity of the new pine leaf bee in the young larval stage, and there are fewer people entering the mountains during the New Year, and the implementation of artificial pollution-free prevention and control has achieved obvious prevention and control results.
New pine leaf wasp control methods
Agricultural control
Create mixed forests, strengthen care, enhance tree potential, reduce pests; in the egg stage and young larval stage, artificially remove insects and egg branches, and artificially excavate cocoon blocks at the cocoon stage and burn them in a concentrated manner.
Biocontrol
In the larval stage, albicans and multinucleated viruses are administered.
Pharmaceutical control
1. For small areas of insect source areas, forest edges and individual tall trees, use 15% insecticidal double punch hole injection to dry control, 5 mL per plant. 2. In the early larval stage, in the high insect population density forest stands, 2.5% anti-emulsion emulsion, 2.5% anti-sauli 0.005% liquid spray, or 25% anti-horse oil ultra-low spray, 3 kg per hectare. When the middle and older larvae begin to be infested in large numbers, they are released with dimonic cigarettes in the morning and evening, at 15 kg per hectare.
