How, does it feel like the heart is all cute? Is there an urge to get one right now? Or maybe you don't understand it and want to raise it but have a series of worries? Don't worry, let me tell you what they look like.

(1) Golden Bear

Golden Bear: The Golden Hamster (scientific name: Mesocricetus auratus) is also known as the Syrian hamster. Taxonomically is a medium-sized hamster in the genus Mid Hamster. Like many hamsters, the golden hamster has a blunt snout, relatively small eyes, large ears and a short tail of about 1.5 centimeters.

Temperate terrestrial nocturnal omnivores, feeding on crops and insects, are mainly found in arable land for annual crops. The average lifespan in the wild is 1 to 2 years, and the average lifespan in captivity is 2 to 4 years.

(2) Life habits

The Golden Hamster is a solitary (point!) Golden bears are solitary animals and cannot be co-bred except for mating! One male and one female, brothers and sisters! No! Yes! Don't listen to some people saying that his family has a good personality and is okay together, nothing is not a good personality is good luck, if you don't want to see only half a bear left in the wake of the day, don't try it with a fluke! Nocturnal (yes, nocturnal animals as the name suggests, sleep during the day, die at night, it is recommended not to put it in the bedroom, it may be very noisy at night) and omnivorous (omnivorous mainly feeds on grass seed grains, small insects, etc., bears are in need of protein, so buy self-rationing please be sure to match a certain amount of protein food, but because the dosage is difficult to control, it is still recommended to eat brand grain as much as possible) rodents.

As rodents, they like to burrow, so the bedding requirements are deep enough (about 15cm) to meet their needs for burrowing.

Communication is mainly made through odor markers, but they also use a variety of auditory signals. They produce squeaks in several situations, usually accompanied by sudden body movements. In addition, the act of teeth tremors, chattering is a symbol of aggression. Poor vision is sometimes frightening for huge objects (fingers) that suddenly appear in front of your eyes.

(3) Regarding whether to carry germs (plague, rabies, etc.)

According to the CDC in the United States, rodents, especially small rodents, such as chipmunks, squirrels, mice, rats, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters and rabbits, including domestic rabbits and hares, are rarely infected with rabies.

Normal domestic golden bears will not have the possibility of contracting plague, and if infected with plague, rats will die first, and the possibility of carrying plague without contact with outside rats is almost zero.

(4) Artificial breeding requirements

Cage with a chassis area greater than 0.5 m2.

Provide multiple hiding places, the material can be paper or wood, etc.

The thickness of the bedding is not less than 15cm, and the raw materials of the nest material should be soft, including dust-free shavings, straw, etc.

Bear hamsters should need a running wheel diameter greater than 21cm, and a suitable running wheel should have a closed running surface.

If using a cage made of glass or plastic, be sure to keep the top open for ventilation.

Clean the diaper bedding, food bowls and drinking fountain regularly, clean the entire cage every month but it is recommended to keep some of the old bedding so that the hamster can adapt to the smell.

For golden hamsters, the entire cage is cleaned every 14 days (thick dias can be cleaned locally), and the wind is released regularly (do not use running balls).

Animals that live alone can only be kept alone.

Compared with the small hamster (old husband and mother-in-law three-line such) golden bear personality is more gentle, familiar with the possibility of biting people after the small, and the adult golden silk bear is larger, put in the hand rua feel first-class!

Compared with regular large pets such as cats and dogs, the cost of raising golden bears is low and does not require much companionship (but it also requires regular feeding and bedding changes, etc., and the student party with busy academics chooses carefully according to its own situation).

So if you want a cute little pet but don't have a lot of time to take care of it, the Golden Bear is undoubtedly a better choice.

Are you impressed? Then quickly pick a cute little cute and let it cute your heart (please see the next issue of the mouse selection strategy)
