From the beginning of raising succulents and soil to deal with, such an adult began to play "mud" succulents with soil there are many types of simply that is called a dazzling ah. From the beginning of raising meat, I also changed a variety of soils, at first I bought ready-made ones and then I matched them myself, in fact, I feel that if I don't particularly pursue the ultimate difference, people are similar.

Pastoral soil is also the soil that you usually see on flowers or the soil in your own garden. The most discouraged meat is to use pastoral soil, because it is easy to settle, but if you add some particles, it can also be used, but it is the easiest soil for insects, if there is more meat at home, it is best not to add pastoral soil.
Maifan stone is the most common in succulent soil and can be said to be a sacred stone. Pavement with it mix soil with it to pad the bottom also use it. Its edges and corners are relatively smooth, the paving surface is very suitable, and it also has a certain weight, it will not be as light as volcanic stone, red jade soil, and it is still better to drop with a certain pressure pot effect.
Peat soil is a medium with a good water retention effect in succulent soil, but it is not easy to absorb water if it is too much, so the general proportion is between 10-30%.
Coconut bran is quite a lot of shed owners said that it can be a perfect alternative to peat soil, it is much more expensive than peat soil, but every time you use it, you have to soak it in water first, because it is compressed, which is a bit troublesome. There are also some shed owners who say that the alkalinity inside the coconut bran is relatively large, and there is salt that is not suitable for use, I think there is salt? I was very curious to secretly taste it to see if there was a salty taste, did not taste anything, maybe the salt that the shed owner said was not the salt we ate, but I used the coconut kang for a year, and I have not found any bad phenomenon for meat.
Volcanic stone has a variety of small holes, I think it is like the burned ash slag, should be almost the same, I think it is also one of the good medium, its small holes are very suitable for the root system of meat to climb, but listen to a meat friend said that it is easy to grow hair, so I listened to a friend said that it is no longer used, but the leaf insert of the small seedling with the soil is still very good to use drops.
Red jade soil, diatomaceous earth and what is good water storage, good air permeability, dry is also fast, is the price is a little expensive
River sand is a good medium, but there is a drawback, the special love of the water will not be quickly volatilized off, if you like to use river sand, in the air humidity is relatively large areas after watering the best use of electric fans blowing.
It is said that the good state should use full particles or more than 80 percent of the particles, which also has a certain basis, the original growth of meat is in a relatively barren area, there are very few nutrients, so in order to imitate its original growth environment, only so many particles are used, because the particles lock water very little, it will drink water, just like cacti in the desert, they will desperately root under the ground in order to absorb water, in order to be able to drink deeper water underground.
Speaking of which, in fact, the soil I use for meat is to see what is good to put, basically 1:1:1 ratio (except peat, coconut bran), if it is not so water-loving meat meat is more granular, some even use diatomaceous earth, red jade soil and so on instead of peat, such as Dongyun system, peach egg ah or something, pepper grass, Rosima, Mo nan, Gyokuro and other relatively water-loving put 20%-30% of peat so that it is more conducive to their growth.
