Bo Bai character Wang Tengjin

Wang Tengjin, born in January 1934, a native of Zhongcun, Sandan Township, graduated from junior high school. In 1951, he entered the Guangxi Revolutionary University, and in June of the same year, he was assigned to the Bobai grain department as an accountant. In 1973, he was transferred to the Bobai County Institute of Agricultural Sciences as an agricultural technician, in 1978 he was appointed deputy director of the institute, in 1980 he was appointed director of the institute, and in 1987 he was appointed as a senior agronomist. In 1991, he served as the vice chairman of the Third Committee of Bobai County of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He has successively cultivated 15 excellent rice products (lines) such as short-footed large glutinous, Boliang No. 1, Ertie, Qibai No. 1, Tuanhuang Sticky, 05 Viscous, Fine Yellow Sticky, Boyou 64, etc., one of which was selected to Beijing to participate in the National Agricultural Science and Technology Achievements Exhibition, 3 varieties won the National Quality Variety Award, and 4 varieties won the Guangxi Excellent Scientific and Technological Achievement Award. He was successively selected as a model worker in Guangxi, a deputy to the Seventh People's Congress of the Autonomous Region, a deputy to the Seventh National People's Congress, and was also awarded the honorary titles of "Advanced Worker of the Autonomous Region" and "Advanced Worker of the Whole Country."
