Most of the colors of Mongolian materials are persimmon red or persimmon yellow, which looks somewhat similar to the southern red agate in Liangshan, Sichuan, but on closer inspection, the difference is still obvious:
1, Mongolian material is generally dry color, there is no southern red agate moist jade feeling.
2, most of the Mongolian materials are mixed with dark red or yellow line patterns, and there are many stone patterns. The stone pattern in the southern red agate is relatively small, and the nine mouth materials in the southern red of Liangshan are mixed with rose red stone patterns, not the dark red or yellow in the Mongolian material.
3, Mongolian materials often coexist with white crystal, and many have dark or light colors (shades refer to the color difference with the main color). Southern red agate is not tangled.
4, Mongolian material more cracks, both large cracks, but also a lot of small cracks, these cracks are naturally formed, and the formation of the environment is related. There are not many Cracks in the Sichuan material in the Southern Red Agate, and there are many cracks in the Baoshan material, but the color is obviously different from the Mongolian material, which is easy to distinguish.
In addition to the above methods, it is best to buy one or two samples, often compare and study, so that you can be familiar with the characteristics of various materials.
