Hello everyone, I'm Bean Mom.

To say that summer is the most sad thing, I bet, in addition to the sweltering weather, being enthusiastically "kissed" by mosquitoes is definitely on the list. Especially children, their skin is delicate, they are bitten, and a few "big red packets" are gently drummed out, and small rashes may appear all over the body.

What's even more head-scratching is that in most cases we don't know when we were bitten by what bugs, and we just want to deal with it, but we can't do it.

So today, Dou Mama will give you a plate of several common mosquito bites after the rash performance and coping methods, so that parents can know in their hearts and do not panic.

Mosquitoes can be said to be the "pillars" of summer, and they are indispensable everywhere they go, especially in hot and humid places with standing water, where they are often seen singing and dancing.

You don't look at its small size, but it carries a lot of germs, and if it bites, it is likely to "get" the bacteria and viruses in their bodies.

What does the skin look like after being bitten?

After being bitten by a mosquito, a round and fluffy bump appears on the skin, which is what we often call a "bag", and sometimes a small dot is seen in the center of it.

The packet then turns red and hard, and has a small amount of swelling. It feels itchy, and sometimes it hurts and itches.

What should I do?

After being bitten by a mosquito, there are usually 3 manifestations.

1. Generally, the symptoms of the bite are mild, and there is no need to seek medical treatment, which can be treated at home.

Here's how:

Wash the bite site with soapy water to neutralize the acidic venom.

Tell your child not to scratch the bite bag as much as possible, and if it is a small baby, trim your nails in time.

Calamine lotion can be applied to the place where the bite is bitten. Note: Babies under 2 years of age should avoid using antipruritics such as wind oil essence and cooling oil containing camphor and peppermint.

If there is swelling in the bite area, you can also use a cold towel to help the baby cold compresses, each time for 5 to 10 minutes.

If after the above treatment, the baby still feels itchy and wants to scratch, you can apply a moderate amount of deonide, Uzoll and other hormone ointments to the child to relieve itching, 1 to 2 times a day.

If you scratch the skin, you can apply antibiotic ointment, such as Baiduobang, 2 to 3 times a day.

2. If the bite site appears red and swollen, blisters, indicating that the situation is more serious, at this time do not let the child scratch, so as not to appear skin infection, it is recommended to seek medical examination in time. Usually, the doctor will use some anti-allergic and anti-infective drugs according to the child's specific situation.

3. If the child is bitten, in addition to the local rash, but also accompanied by fever, chills, headache, vomiting, convulsions and other systemic symptoms, it is necessary to seek medical treatment immediately to rule out the possibility of concomitant infectious diseases, especially in areas with high incidence of malaria and Japanese encephalitis.

Mosquito repellent can be used daily through the following methods

If you suspect your child has been bitten by a red fire ant, you can wash the affected area with soapy water first, and then apply cold compresses with ice cubes or cold water to relieve the burning pain. Or apply topically with steroid-containing creams such as Picol cream to relieve itching and swelling.

In addition, keep the wound clean and do not scratch to avoid secondary infection of the wound. It should be noted that if you have a history of allergies or a severe reaction after a bite, you should quickly go to the hospital for medical treatment.

Here's how:

(1) Use forceps as close to the surface of the skin as possible to grasp the tick, and when clipping, clamp it together with the tick's mouthparts.

(2) Use a smooth, uniform force to pull upwards, do not rotate, stir ticks, easy to cause the mouthparts to remain in the skin, if this happens, you can use forceps to remove the head again.

(3) If you are not sure whether you can remove it, it is recommended to go to the hospital immediately and seek the help of a doctor.

(4) After removing the tick, wash the affected area with medical alcohol or soapy water.

Severe cases may be accompanied by fever, headache, nausea and vomiting, coma and other phenomena. If you are allergic to bee venom, you will also have anaphylactic shock phenomena such as laryngeal edema, difficulty breathing, and confusion.

(1) Remove the bee needle: You can use the tip of the needle or tweezers to pick out the poison needle, but pay attention to the disinfection of the tool. If possible, you can use a cupping device to suck out the venom.

(2) Cleaning and disinfection: Wash the wound neutralizing toxins with soapy water or soda water, and be careful not to squeeze the wound to avoid the remaining toxins from entering the body.

(3) Cold compresses to reduce swelling: Applying a cold towel or ice pack to the wound can relieve the swelling and pain of the wound.

(4) Apply ointment: Antibiotic ointments such as Baiduobang can be applied to the wound.

There are many species of cryptoptera, some poisonous, some non-toxic, like the following body orange-red, head, elytra and tail blue-black is the poisonous cryptoptera.

They prefer to live in wet places such as gutters, ponds, and weeds. Pay special attention when going out and playing.

After being bitten by cryptoptera, the skin will appear with banded erythema or agglomerated pustules, and the burning pain will be obvious. It is very easy to misdiagnose as trauma (such as scratches, abrasions), shingles, etc.

How to deal with it?

Cryptoptera is found to stay on the child's skin, which can be gently shaken or blown away, and must not be slapped, so as not to allow the venom to penetrate into the skin.

After the cryptoptera flies away, thoroughly wash the skin that has come into contact with cryptoptera with soapy water. If you accidentally kill cryptoptera, you will also immediately wash your skin with plenty of soapy water to neutralize the venom.

07 caterpillar

Caterpillars usually "lurk" in trees, but sometimes they fall off trees, and if you happen to cool off under or pass under trees, you are likely to have a "skin kiss" with it.

There are also caterpillars that are brightly colored and look so cute that small children are likely to touch them out of curiosity. But caterpillars contain venom in their burrs, and once in contact with them, they are likely to be stung.

What does the skin look like after being stung?

After being stung by a caterpillar, the burrs are likely to remain in the skin, causing redness, swelling, tingling, and in some cases wheals or measles. Of course, it is not ruled out that it is only a stinging pain, and there is no possibility of any external manifestation.

After being accidentally stung by a caterpillar, the infected area should be washed with running water or soapy water immediately with tape or scotch tape, repeatedly gluing away the poisonous hairs on the rash many times, and then washing the affected area with running water or soapy water.

Clothing with poisonous hairs should also be washed separately with soapy water to avoid repeated irritation of the skin by poisonous hairs.

If the symptoms of tingling and redness are not alleviated, you should go to the hospital in time and do not scratch because of itching.

Finally, Dou Mama wants to say that although there are many mosquitoes in the summer, as long as we take protective measures and deal with them correctly, it will not have too much impact on the body, so everyone should not be overly nervous.
