Man is always easily deceived by appearances. In the past, police dogs and military dogs were basically the world of German Shepherds. Other countries have world-famous dog breeds, and Czechoslovakia thinks we have them too! In order to surpass the strongest, the Czechoslovak military kennel decided to cross the German Shepherd and the Carpathian gray wolf, hoping that the new dog breed would be as smart and trainable as the German shepherd, and as powerful and endurance as the gray wolf. But the breeding of dog breeds has never been as simple as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
The first generation of Czech wolfhounds, very similar in appearance and behavior, although they can be trained, but it takes a lot of time and effort, and the results are not as good as expected.
The first generation of Czech wolfhounds that grew up continued to cross with German Shepherds, and so on. By the fourth generation, the proportion of wolves in our bodies has decreased to 6.25%. Our trainability is also getting higher and higher, and most of the dogs in the third and fourth generations can participate in training courses and even participate in performances.
In 1983, a German Shepherd and a she-wolf gave birth to the last hybrid puppy. After that, all Czech wolfhounds began to be bred in isolation until the actual birth of the Czech wolfhound.
We did meet expectations compared to dogs, with better hearing, vision, and especially night vision. After endurance testing, we can run 100 kilometers without feeling particularly tired. At first, we served in the Czechoslovak Special Forces Commando, only for special military operations, and then gradually went abroad to Europe and the United States and other places to participate in search and rescue, tracking, arrest and other tasks.

Big size and strong endurance, I am more difficult than the husky brother! In the hands of the troops or dog trainers, they have a scientific method, and they will spend a lot of time and energy to communicate with me correctly, so I will reluctantly make friends with them, anyway, there is good food.
But the average owner, not only do they not like to take me out to exercise, but they do not have a large yard for me to exercise to meet basic needs.
