It was learned from the Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater that the fifth Qintai Art Festival, which lasted for more than two months, will open this Saturday (October 16). From that day to December, a total of 32 performances in 14 projects will run through the entire festival, presenting a number of wonderful dramas, dance dramas, musicals and so on to the audience in Jiangcheng.
As one of the highest-standard cultural and artistic events in Wuhan, famous troupes, famous dramas and famous artists have always been its main features, and this year is no exception. At the opening performance on October 16, the "Liantai Drama" stage play formed by Cao Yu's "Thunderstorm" produced by Yanghua Drama and "After Thunderstorm" formed by Cao Yu's daughter and playwright Wan Fang will debut in Jiangcheng for the first time. The performance form of the stage drama is to perform "Thunderstorm" and "After thunderstorm" in the afternoon and evening on the same day, so that the audience can immerse themselves in the story for half a day. The cast composed of well-known actors Liu Kaiwei, He Saifei, Tong Ruimin, Kong Wei, Lu Xingchen, etc., will work together to bring wonderful interpretations to the audience.
A number of aesthetic dance drama works are a landscape of this year's Qintai Art Festival. On November 11 and 12, the work "Eternal Electric Wave", created by the Shanghai Song and Dance Troupe and known as the "benchmarking significance" in the domestic dance drama circle, will be staged with enthusiasm; on November 20 and 21, the well-known young dancer Hu Shenyuan will bring the modern dance work "Wandering · On November 27 and 28, the 12th Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" Dance Drama Award "Cavalry" will strike; on December 28 and 29, the 12th Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" Dance Drama Award work "Effort Meal" will be staged as the finale of the festival.
In terms of musicals and concerts, in addition to Cui Jian's Wuhan concert on October 31 and November 1, and the concert of Hanggai Band at the end of November, Li Zongsheng's musical "When Love Has Become a Thing of the Past" will also be performed four times from December 9 to 12, and the family musical "The Prince and the Beggar" will also land in Jiangcheng in December.
This year's Qintai Art Festival is hosted by Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Beijing Poly Theater, and hosted by Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater. The festival will continue to adhere to the purpose of cultural benefits, 32 performances of all grades of ticket prices are reduced by 20%, the average ticket price of the performance series does not exceed 200 yuan, the minimum ticket price is 30 yuan, and the public can also enjoy discounted ticket prices using Wuhan Wenhuitong.
