Vocal classification of European and American female singers
European and American popular singing, basically from the church Gospel, in the late 40s there was Blues, in the 50s gradually began to rise R&B, followed by Rock & Roll and Funk, to the 60s Soul dominated the mainstream of popular singing. From the 1970s onwards, R&B added elements of disco, and in the 80s and 90s R&B was basically shaped by the combination of rap and singing.
