According to Italian media Sportitalia, Sebastian Giovinco suddenly abandoned negotiations with Thessaloniki and will not join the Greek club, so Venice is still expected to sign him.
Jovinko, now 34, almost joined Thessaloniki last night. Sportitalia claimed today that negotiations between the two sides have cooled down quickly and that they have now completely abandoned the deal, which looks unlikely to materialize and that Jovenco will remain with Al hilal for now.
