On July 14, the Propaganda Department of Yantai Municipal Party Committee, the Organization Department of Yantai Municipal Party Committee, the Party School of Yantai Municipal Party Committee, the Party History Research Institute of Municipal Party Committee, Yantai Daily, and the Municipal Social Science Federation jointly held a theoretical seminar on learning and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "July 1st" important speech and celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Yu Yongxin, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal CPC Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, attended and spoke at the meeting, and Zhao Guangjin, deputy head of the Fourth Circuit Guidance Group of the Provincial CPC Committee for The Study and Education of Party History, attended the meeting.
Jiang Junying of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee Party History Research Institute, as one of the six speakers attending the meeting, discussed with everyone how to firmly grasp the soul of party history research and party history study and education, that is, why the Communist Party of China can do it, why Marxism works, and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good through reviewing the history of the Communist Party of China and combining the red culture of Jiaodong.
The meeting demanded that we should strengthen the mission responsibility, deepen the study of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on "July 1st", truly learn and understand the true faith, enter the mind into the soul, explain clearly and thoroughly; focus on going deep and solid, develop and use Yantai's red resources, and continue to promote the continuous breakthroughs in the study of Jiaodong red culture; we should focus on the overall situation of the center, enhance the determination of "two safeguards" in taking history as a mirror, find the entry point of work in creating the future, interpret innovative theories with Yantai practice, and do a good job in countermeasure and applied research. We must give full play to the role of the "think tank" and "think tank" of the party committee and the government; we must take advantage of the situation, strengthen political awareness, keep up with the pace of the times, firmly establish the concept of purpose, forge a strong contingent, and do a good job in studying and interpreting the spirit of the speech with a high sense of political responsibility and mission.
