If you want to choose who is the most influential Korean in Russia, Victor Choi must be well deserved. Victor Choi was born on June 21, 1962 in Leningrad, Soviet Union. An engineer in his father, was a North Korean. His Russian mother was a physical education teacher. His parents could barely imagine how many generations their son would later be loved.

From an early age he showed a talent for painting, and his parents sent him to an art school. In the fifth grade, the boy became increasingly interested in music, and his relatives gave him his first guitar, thus opening up Victor's path to the world of music. Cui began composing his own lyrics and music at the age of 15.

Choi's musical phenomenon remains a mystery. After the creation of the band "KINO", the trend swept through the Soviet Union. After the release of the first album "Blood Type", it set a record for album sales.

In August 1990, Victor Tri traveled to Riga, Latvia, to shoot MTV and take time off on vacation.
