Through the four stories of the "Turning Corner" red revolution history, such as the Fire of the Turning Corner Bay, the Warm Winter in the Corner Bay, the Flame of the Corner Bay, and the Heroic Soul of the Corner Bay, "The Corner Bay" uses the literary and artistic form of a sitcom to show the true story of Li Yichen, secretary of the independent branch of the Jinshan Independent Branch of the CPC, Yan Shushen, the head of the party organization of the first party organization in Pinghu City, who bravely took the lead in spite of the enemy's severe torture, coercion and inducement, and finally heroically took the lead in righteousness. At that time, in the low tide period after the defeat of the Great Revolution, under the leadership of the higher-level party organizations, Li Yichen, Yan Shushen, and others persisted in mobilizing the broad masses of peasant salt people in the corner bay and even in the entire Punan region at that time, resisting rents and taxes, and holding a huge New Street riot, which dealt a fierce blow to the counter-revolutionary arrogance of the reactionary military and political authorities and the local tycoons and inferior gentry.
As a tribute drama for the centenary of the founding of the Party in Pinghu and Jinshan, the drama was created by the two places across provinces, directed by the famous director Cao Shilin, starring famous actors Fu Chong, Qian Yi, Li Yuan, etc., and the local performance lovers of Jinshan and Pinghu participated in the performance. The main creative team of this drama has a strong lineup, and has also attracted the participation of Chen Daming, a national first-class screenwriter, Liu Xiaochun, a national first-class stage designer, and Xu Jiahua, a famous character styling designer.
In order to deeply restore the history of "Corner Bay", the play launched the script creation in October last year, through the form of field collection, material collection, script demonstration, etc., to determine the creative ideas and forms of expression, and actively explore the cross-regional creation and scheduling cooperation mechanism, and determine the form of Joint Creation of Pinghu Jinshan. At the same time, the Shanghai professional team was invited to join the creation of "Corner Bay", and after more than 9 months of planning and preparation, and more than 10 script revisions, there was now such a high-quality red cultural repertoire with high authenticity and artistry.
On the special day of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the story of the corner bay was put on the stage in the form of a large-scale multimedia epic drama, and through the vivid interpretation of historical facts, the revolutionary spirit of communists who were not afraid of sacrifice and forged ahead in a pioneering spirit for the sake of ideals and beliefs was conveyed. By reviewing the history of the arduous struggle of revolutionary martyrs, this drama is intended to inspire contemporary communists not to forget their original intentions, keep their mission in mind, enhance the political determination of party members, and stimulate the courage and passion of party members and cadres and the masses of the people to actively struggle and move forward with their dreams.
In addition to four consecutive performances in Pinghu City on the 18th and 19th of this month, the drama will also enter Jinshan on the 21st of this month to tell the red friendship between the two places.
