Gong Zheng, Sun Yao, Zheng Qiyuan starred in the musical "A Thousand Years of Love" and finally premiered offline

After a round of online premieres, from September 4th to 6th, the original musical "One Love Millennium" of China Opera and Dance Theatre will land at the Beijing Tianqiao Art Center, officially opening a nationwide offline tour, allowing the story of Xu Xian and the White Lady to take the scene stage of the musical.

The original musical "A Thousand Years of Love" is the country's first online premiere musical, which was premiered on the online platform in May this year, and the data showed that the live broadcast attention on the day of the premiere exceeded 200,000, the number of likes was nearly 450,000, and the number of online platform views reached more than 4 million. The drama has undergone four rounds of polishing so far, from online to offline. The repertoire is adapted from the well-known folk myth story "The Legend of the White Snake" in China, which tells the four plots of "Meeting the Broken Bridge", "Becoming a Parent in the Pharmacy", "Flooding the Golden Mountain" and "Destroying the Leifeng Pagoda" in four acts, interpreting the theme of love from different perspectives.

As a project funded by the National Arts Fund, "A Thousand Years of Love" is directed by Tao Cheng of the China Opera and Dance Theatre, written by Chen Xiaoqi, composed by Li Xiaobing, and directed by Mao Weiwei of the China Opera and Dance Theatre. The main creative team and main actors of the play are from the China Opera and Dance Theatre. Gong Zheng, Sun Yao, Zheng Qiyuan, Tax Zihuan and other actors starred.

The national tour of "One Love Millennium" kicked off in Beijing for the first time, and 5 performances were staged in three days. After the Beijing station, it will go to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Foshan and other places from November 4.
