In tribute to legendary Mexican racer Pedro Rodriguez, Porsche officially unveiled a new special edition of the 911 at the Sportscar Together Day event in Mexico, with the full name: Porsche 911 Turbo S 'One of a Kind' Pedro Rodriguez.

The new car was developed by Porsche Latin America and Porsche Mexico through porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, based on the current 911 Turbo S, the only one in the world. The exterior is painted in the classic Gulf livery style, which is also the 917KH chariot livery of the many World Endurance Championships that Pedro Rodriguez won between 1970 and 1971, but unfortunately, Pedro Rodriguez has never driven it to win the 24h of Le Mans.
It's complemented by a high-gloss black central locking rim and a No. 2 racing motif, while the B-pillar is decorated with the same-colored 917KH racing car with Rodriguez's signature. The carbon fibre side skirt replicates the same detail, while the name that won eight races is engraved under the rear wing.
The interior also features the same combination of colours, with a graphite blue body with orange stitching accents, the silhouette of the 917KH racing car appearing on the front headrests and Rodriguez's signature on the central armrest and carbon fibre dashboard. Power continues with a 3.8T twin-turbo horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 650 hp and a maximum torque of 800 Nm, matching an 8PDK transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
