It has now been determined that seven-time Mr. Olympia champion Phil Heath will not return to Mr. Olympia 2021. Olypia) staged for his eighth Trail trophy. Phil Heath's coach, Hany Rambod, also confirmed the news in his solo podcast.
In the podcast Hanny Lambord makes it clear that Phil Heath will not be in the 2021 race because he is busy with other things, and that playing again for Mr. Olympia and winning the tournament is not on his list of goals.
Hanny Lambord speculated that even if Phil Heath were to compete this year, in his current form, it would be very disadvantageous. And 41-year-old Phil Heath even decided to step on the stage of professional bodybuilding again after Mr. Olympia ended in 2021.

There is no doubt that Phil Heath is one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. He was tied with Arnold Schwarzenegger and won the seven-time Mr. Olympia Championship (2011-2017), making him the second most numerous victory in bodybuilding history. Schwarzenegger won Mr. Olympia (1970-1975) six times in a row before winning his seventh Trail trophy in 1980. Lee Haney (1984-1991) and Ronnie Coleman (1998-2005) finished first in eight tournaments.
Phil Heath won the first prize in the Mr. Olympia competition for a total of $2,175,000, while Lee Hani, Ronnie Coleman and Phil Heath were the only three to win at least seven consecutive Mr. Olympia races.
In 2018, Phil Heath finished second in the Mr. Olympia competition, behind Shawn Rhoden, and in 2019, with neither Phil Heath nor Sean Rodden in attendance (Phil Heath injured, Sean Rodden accused of rape), Brandon Curry won the 2019 Mr. Olympia race. Phil Heath returned in 2020 in third place behind runner-up Brandon Curry and champion Mamdouh Elssbiay.

Mr. Olympia 2021 will be held in Orlando, Florida, from October 7-10, 2021. The competition will have 11 competitions in bodybuilding categories, as well as debuts including the health category.
