"Rocky" Episode 4 Easter Egg, 4 Loki variants appear together, to create a large prank classic Loki Little Loki Crocodile Loki's conceited Loki

In Episode 4 of Loki, an end-of-credits egg appears: Loki is cut and enters a special world that appears to be destroyed New York, with the ruins of the Stark Tower in the distance.

Here, Loki is greeted by four Loki variants that seem to correspond to those previously cropped by Möbius for Loki.

These Loki variants are quite appealing, and we can try to explore their corresponding comic versions based on their image.

On the far right is "Classic Loki" played by Richard E. Grant. We see him wearing a costumed version of The Classic Loki drawn by Jack Kirby in the 1960s Marvel comics.

In fact, the dress looks exactly like the one Loki wore when he first appeared in Journey Into Mystery # 85.

This may create an association: this classic Loki is a Loki from the 616 universe of Marvel Comics' main universe. This will be the first time that the comic that provided the MCU with a source of creative inspiration has received a direct filmization of the character image.

What's more interesting is that last September, Richard Grant had already tweeted that he would participate in "Rocky" and cooperate with Jitterson, but he did not expect to star in a Loki variant "Classic Loki".

In the middle is Kid Loki, played by Jack Veal. This comes from a recent Marvel Comics: a story from 2010's Thor #617.

Loki dies while battling alongside his brother Thor, as well as the Avengers, a very rare moment of heroism that belongs to Loki.

Before his death, Loki manipulated Hela to remove his name from the Book of Hale. Because of this, he was reborn as a much younger version of himself.

This "Loki Kid" lives in Paris and his name is "Serrure", which means "lock" in French. He has no memory of his past life and has actually become a more pure superhero. He was even at one point a member of the Teen Avengers.

The Loki Kid is holding a "Crocodile Loki" in his hand. Although it may seem weird, given Loki's comic book image and mythological origins, this crocodile Loki variant is actually too ordinary.

In Norse mythology, Loki often appears in different forms, including salmon, mares, seals, flies, and he even turns into a mare and gives birth to Odin's eight-legged god Sleipnir.

In the comics and MCU, Loki is also very good at deformation, but mainly becomes another character image, but it is Thor, who once became the frog Thor.

On the far left, it is called the "Conceited Loki". This Loki seems to be holding some version of Thor's Hammer, which means that this conceited Loki is a variant that can lift Thor's Hammer– that is indeed worthy of his conceit.

However, in the comics, Loki has also lifted Thor's Hammer: in 2020's Thor#4, Thor's Hammer was found in Jordenheim, Loki's homeland and frost giant kingdom.

Loki briefly raised Thor's Hammer, but only for Thor, who arrived later, to take it. In this episode, though, we see that the conceited Loki seems to have been using Thor's Hammer for a long time.

Loki is a god of trickery, more or less representing chaos, or that he prefers chaos, and what could create more chaos than the many Loki variants? The god of trickery is about to bring about a big prank!
