Alice + Olivia 2022 new "Hand in Hand" theme series creative return

Alice + Olivia's new 2022 "Come Create With Us" themed collection is designed to inspire creativity, share fashion and artistic charm, and work with a number of female artists to create a series of exquisite costumes created by them. In the design of this series, the works of these invited female artists appear in conjunction with other design works, and at the same time, the series also reproduces the design tradition of Alice + Olivia actively working with creators in various fields.

Fashion and art have always been the two major themes of new York, and it is the eternal collision between the two that has made Stacey Bendet an inexhaustible source of creation. In 2022, in honor of Alice + Olivia's 20th anniversary, the label's iconic classic designs, such as the sexy close-fitting declaration trousers and the combination of classic romantic print embroidery, are all re-rendered in a contemporary style, returning to this season's design trend.

This season's design makes extensive use of bold and bold colors. Among them, the silk dress skirt/long skirt (a classic dress skirt that pays homage to the brand) vividly shows the dazzling beauty of different shades with just the right cut and exquisite details. The cropped, shiny red corset that perfectly fits the curves is eye-catching. In addition, the delicate green jumpsuits, yellow cropped jackets and miniskirts, the orange custom-made relaxed blazer with silk wide-leg pants, and the double-layered skirt with long silk scarves as accessories add a gorgeous atmosphere to the clothing.

In other colours, the sleek mixed-dyed wide-leg pants are paired with the same manifesto coat for a stunning visual effect, while a new Stace rainbow stripe print will be introduced this season (complemented by the brand's classic Stace Face motif, both of which will appear on a prom skirt and a fisherman's hat). These intense color combinations are art itself, the result of the creative genius of Stacey Bendet and Sofia Karvela.

An integral element of the all-new Spring/Summer 2022 collection is the glam rock style of the 1970s. Whether it's the glamorous organ pleated design of the short skirts and dresses, the sparkling beaded and sequin details, or the full and soft-lined chain belt, the collection is full of gorgeous brilliance. A corset embellished with pearls, sequins and beads is a well-deserved fashion statement piece, while a multi-layered cropped prom dress embellished with a crystal clear bow is a new interpretation of the classic doll look.

In addition to the use of bold colors and gorgeous rock elements, the designer's tribute to the brand's early style also runs throughout the series, such as the classic black and white cuts, which highlight the nostalgic style and exude a different modern atmosphere. The declaration flared and wide-leg trousers in the collection draw on the characteristics of the brand's first design collection – smooth, smooth and flawless cuts – while incorporating the essence of the times: all wide-leg trousers are made of the latest eco-friendly fabrics. The collection is made entirely of eco-friendly leathers, including multi-layered short skirts and dresses made of eco-friendly leather, to very realistic eco-friendly crocodile leather suits.

In addition, the many hair accessories in the collection (created by designer Justine Marjan) will also be the finishing touch to create different styles. Under the "more-is-more" concept, pearl-embellished hairpins, full and soft chains, and OPI nail polish feature chains and pearls all add a touch of gorgeous rock in addition to the overall feminine aesthetic.

The New Spring/Summer 2022 collection is a collection of works that are alive and well for women artists who creatively bring visual art to life in scenes, live dance, music and performance art, giving life to the costumes they design. This remarkable design team includes fiber artist Trish Andersen (@trishandersenart) from Savannah, Visual Surface Artist Natalie Stopka (@nataliestopka), Fashion Illustrator and Storyteller Mokshini (@mokshini), jewelry artist Grace Thomas (@gramasthomas), Music artist Samantha Urbani (@samandude) and DJ and musician Bec Adams (@billiebadams).

The background murals in this series were created on site by Blair Brietenstein (@blairz), whose brushstrokes are vivid and vivid, and the painter completes the creation on the spot while displaying each model.
