The wound that "Kuiba" brought to Qingqingshu may never heal, and Qingqingshu eventually licks this wound in the void of toiling and doing nothing.
In 2015, "The Return of the Great Sage", which no one was optimistic about, won nearly 1 billion yuan at the box office, creating a miracle in the history of domestic animation films. It is precisely because of this miracle that the slogan of "the rise of the national comic" is shouting louder and louder, and it must be mentioned every year, and every year the national comic is rising. Nowadays, this slogan has developed to the level of meme, and the director of "Nezha's Devil Boy Descending" dumplings have also complained that "everyone no longer mentions the rise of national comics, and national comics have risen."

But if you want to talk about the source of the "rise of the national comic", I am afraid that a considerable number of fans will think of another animation that is basically dead - "Kuiba". In 2011, the domestic film market still believed that animation belonged to the era of children, and "Kuiba" was the first work made for young people in the true sense. The plump and three-dimensional characters, the diverse and magnificent world settings, the epic story background, and the deep core that is completely different from the past all brought the shock of "animation can still be like this" to the audience at that time.
However, the Waterloo at the box office has made this series of IP almost completely silent. Although there are some spin-off comics and novels in the follow-up, what fans want to see more is the follow-up to the animated film series. After all, Qingqingshu is an animation company that needs to speak with animation works.
However, since the announcement of the restart of "Kuiba 4" in 2017, there has been no further news about this work, which has disappointed fans.
This disappointment has eased this year, CCTV6 and a number of units released the "2021 Cinema Film Prospect Report", clearly in the 2021 film catalog included "Kuiba 4: The Last Kuiba", which makes the release of "Kuiba 4" no longer distant.
Coupled with the fact that at the beginning of this year, the "Special Path of Kuiba" adapted from "The Book of Kuiba" was launched on Tencent Video, so that many fans believe that "Kuiba 4" is really just around the corner, and the launch of this TV animation is to warm up for the movie. Because this is not the first time that Qingqingshu has done this, before the release of "Kuiba 3", they also launched "The Legend of Kuiba Demon" to pave the way for the movie.
Source: 2021 Theatrical Film Preview Report
But what everyone did not expect is that the fans' hearts are just around the corner, and "Kuiba 4" is still sinking into the sea after more than half a year. What they are waiting for is a live-action movie that is difficult to say- "The Ghost of Queba".
The live-action film and television of IP is a fairly mature part of the commercial IP operation model, which further expands the audience through the live-action version, and can use some more influential platforms to fully exert the commercial value of IP.
But the premise of the live-action version is that either the IP has enough popularity and fan base, or the production itself is sophisticated enough. The former can refer to the Douluo Continent, and the latter can refer to the Legend of the Paladin Sword. But whether it is the former or the latter, "Kuiba" is not on the side. Since "Kuiba 3", the popularity of "Kuiba" has been tepid, and the scope of discussion is quite limited.
Baidu index of the term "Kuiba"
And the well-made, judging from the finished film, is even more impossible to talk about.
The main producer of "Kuiba's Yumi Madness" is Seven Entertainment, which mainly produces a variety of low-cost online movies to make a profit, representative works include "Mountain Cannon Into the City", "Taoist Out of the Mountain" and "Super Eunuch". The style of its own works is relatively exaggerated and gimmicky. This style of production itself does not match the overall serious tone of "Kuiba".
Moreover, from the previous interview with Zhang Sisi, CEO of Seven Entertainment Company, this time the live-action is that Seven Entertainment takes the initiative to purchase copyrights from Qingqingshu, which shows that the leader of the work is Seven Entertainment Company, and Qingqingshu will not have much creative space for deep participation. As can be seen from the list of producers of "Kuiba No Yumi Mania", the team responsible for the content is only involved in the animation director of "Kuiba" wang Chuan as a screenwriter, and Qingqingshu should only provide the basic story and setting.
Source: Weibo @ Kuiba Fan Studio, marked blue for Qingqingshu personnel
The lack of the main personnel of the original work to participate in the creation, and the previous style of the production company is seriously incompatible with "Kuiba", the result is that "Kuiba's Ghost" has been bad reviews since the trailer came out.
Leaving aside the bad special effects, awkward acting, and outrageous costumes, because fans of "Kuiba" can generally tolerate this kind of flaw caused by "poverty" - for example, the picture of "Kuiba Demon" is very poor, but fans will forgive this because the plot is excellent.
What really disgusts fans is that the live-action version loses the most important thing about "Kuiba" - the brilliant script and interesting setting. The live-action version of the movie, not only is there a serious lack of logic in the script, but it is almost just a group of young boys and girls who have a family-style war. In terms of setting, it is also far from the fans' cognition, the diversified design of the camp in the original work is covered up, the celestial realm is simply and rudely beaten as a villain, and even in the core setting of the yuanyang realm of the tattoo system, there are also great fallacies, such as "the only way to get the tattoo is to kill The Kuiba", which will only make the fans feel stunned.

Although the changes in the live-action version can be understood as lowering the viewing threshold to attract more passers-by, the prerequisite for this to be effective is that the quality is excellent. From any point of view, it is difficult to meet this condition.
As mentioned earlier, Seven Entertainment is a film and television company known for producing low-cost online movies, and low investment, short construction period and high returns are what such companies want to see. Even if this is the IP "Kuiba" that was bought for money, judging from the production process of "Kuiba's Ghost", they did not expect to make any serious high-quality works.
The filming of "Kuiba's Ghost Madness" was officially launched on October 18, 2019, and completed on November 6, with a cycle of less than one month. When Hong Kong's golden age assembly line mass-produced bad films, they did not dare to shoot like this. It is difficult to understand what kind of confidence Seven Entertainment has, and only then will it think that this construction period can make good works.
In addition, in the promotion of "Queba's Ghost Madness", there are still some very strange places. For example, half a month before the release of the movie, the official micro of Seven Entertainment issued a trailer, but it was not until September 15 that Tencent Video released this trailer. For another example, after the trailer was released, the poster on the Douban page of "Kuiba No Yumi Mania" was still the fan lin and Yu Mi Mania in the animation, and it was not until the movie was about to be released that Douban replaced it with the poster of the live-action version of the starring actors. The source of this poster is still a media picture on Weibo, which is awkward like a fan work.
The only horizontal poster on Douban also carries a watermark on Weibo
Unsuitable production companies, worrying construction schedules, weird publicity, inferior finished films, no matter from what point of view, "Kuiba's Ghost Madness" is difficult to say successful. This authorization decision of Qingqing Tree was made a failure and sloppy.
Although making money is not a cold thing, authorization is just a simple business act. But the situation of Qingqingshu is different, and the expectations of fans are also different. "Kuiba 4" from the day the postponement was announced, some people built a building on the bar, and it has not stopped to this day.

As a result, this heavy expectation was responded to by Qingqingshu with such a live-action version, which was inevitably a little too much.

Since 2014, the Kuiba series has only one 7-episode TV anime and one manga, which is too small for Kuiba's huge worldview and story setting. Moreover, the protagonist of the first trilogy, Manji, rarely appears in these later works, whether it is animation, manga, or even live-action version, telling the story of other characters.
Qingqingshu did not respond to the expectations of fans, bringing only the clumsiness and inopportuneness of the full screen. This strange behavior can well reflect the confusion and hesitation of Qingqing trees. After their repeated failures, the creation and operation of the IP of "Kuiba" has obviously lost its direction and can only be silenced.
Regarding the discussion of the failure of "Kuiba", there are many opinions on the Internet. Many people attribute this to Qingqingshu's failed publicity strategy and the unfriendly environment of the animation film market.
However, looking at Qingqingshu's production and publicity strategy for the trilogy, it can only be said that the conclusion of the failure of publicity is only applicable to the original "Kuiba". The failure of the two subsequent sequels, the bigger problem is that Qingqingshu is confined to his own arrogance and isolation, does not admit that the work has no clear positioning, and lacks the ability to adjust the work.
The original "Kuiba" was released in July 2011, when the domestic animation film market was basically under the rule of the American animation industry. From 2000 to 14 years, the top box office of domestic animation films was basically 3D animation from the United States, and "Kung Fu Panda" in 2008 was the first animation film in China to exceed 100 million yuan at the box office.
Whether it is design, creativity or production, the fine products brought by companies such as DreamWorks and Disney are difficult to compete with domestic animation at that time. There is no dominant market that is occupied, and almost only animation for young children is left. For example, in these 15 years, the only film that broke the monopoly of American animation was the 10-year release of "Pleasant Goat and Gray Wolf Tiger Tiger", the success of this film, which relies on the broad children's audience base laid by TV animation. But even the well-rooted "Pleasant Goat" did not open much gap compared with the runner-up "Toy Story 3" in the same year.
Source: Meng Niang Encyclopedia "2010 Chinese mainland Animated Film Box Office"
The severe market environment, coupled with the concept of "animation is watched by children" in the early years, has created cinema animation films, which are generally children's animation. Therefore, in such a market environment, it is very normal for "Kuiba" to be cold.
However, from the beginning of the project, "Kuiba" is an animation for teenagers. This positioning, in itself, is challenging this unfriendly market, and it has failed to rely on "this audience is not OK", which is undoubtedly suspected of playing lai. Moreover, there were 27 animated movies released that year, 17 of which exceeded 5 million box office, and "100,000 Fire Rushes" can only be in the middle and lower reaches of the row, such a bottom performance, obviously can not only blame the outside world.
If you look back at Qingqingshu's publicity strategy for the original "Kuiba", you will find that this result is largely their own fault.
Around 2004, Qingqingshu originally planned to produce a 10-season, 52-episode long TV anime "Lingshan King". Because the purchase price of the TV station was much lower than the production cost, the original project was changed to an animated film, which is what we later known as "Kuiba".
However, despite such a long production cycle, Qingqingshu did not make enough pre-publicity for this work with such a large setting and such a different style. In 2015, Qingqingshu CEO Wang Qi reflected in an interview: "From 2008 to 2011, the whole team was frantically immersed in the creation and production of "Kuiba 1", and until the last moment of release, the film was still being perfected, and there was no borrowing from the distribution company. ”。
Although voice actors such as Guan Junyan were invited to help at the premiere, and there were stars such as Yao Chen on social platforms to help promote it, the most direct reaction after landing in the theater was that many theaters did not know what kind of movie it was and were unwilling to schedule the movie.
Source: ""Movie Story" VOL.008_ "Kuiba": Why domestic animation is dead"
Director Wang Chuan once said at the film viewing meeting: "Qingqingshu staff to do the work of one theater after another, some theater managers still told in person, 'Your film has no publicity, no popularity, no one buys tickets to see it after the rehearsal', and the distributors wept on the spot. ”
However, in the interview of the "Legal Evening News", I did not see Qingqingshu reflecting on the mistake of publicity. Wang Lingling, the publicity director of Qingqingshu, attributed the reasons for the problems of few films and low popularity to the fact that Shanghai Xuandong's publicity was not done well, such as the light sign advertisement was not conspicuous enough, the TV advertisement was not aimed at the target user, and the publicity cost of 20 million yuan was too much of a loss.
Source: Sina Entertainment
But Qingqingshu's accusations are untenable.
11 years ago, Shanghai Xuandong had already pushed the fire several times in the "Pleasant Goat" series of movies. When Qingqingshu made the decision to cooperate with Shanghai Xuandong, he should have understood that the audience of this company's channel is children, and the success under their publicity is basically children's animation works.
Moreover, Shanghai Xuandong, which has mature publicity experience, may not have the ability to promote the works to the target group. After all, some of the experiences on publicity are universal, and these experiences may not help them accurately locate the target group, but they will definitely not be ineffective. However, these effects take time to achieve, and the Legal Evening News revealed in an interview with Shanghai Xuandong that Qingqingshu's publicity cycle for "Kuiba" was only half a month from planning to release.
Whoever comes to do the publicity, I am afraid that they can only take rough "exposure publicity", the result is that a few days before the release, the theater line does not give the film, and the audience who walks into the cinema does not know what this is.
The story of "Qingqingshu's staff visiting the theater one by one and asking for an increase in the schedule" can only show that behind the helplessness is Qingqingshu's naivety and immaturity, as well as blind confidence in his own works. The cost of 55 million, the publicity of 20 million, the box office of 5 million, is the price.
But the immaturity in publicity, for Qingqing, ends here.
This fiasco has made Qingqingshu realize the importance of theaters, schedules and early publicity. So they changed to cooperate with Bona Pictures, the promotion plan is more mature, and the second part is placed in the June 1st file in 13 years.
After choosing more experienced publicity partners, they made sufficient preparations in terms of content laying.
In 2011, Qingqingshu published the Book of Kuiba, detailing the various settings of the world of Kuiba. In addition, they also launched a comic series of "Kuiba No Dragon Knight" on the comic book website "Youyouqi" and the magazine "Manga SHOW", and another comic book "Kuiba" serial on "Zhiyin Comics".
"Zhiyin Comic" had a circulation of 7 million copies per month at that time, and "There is a Demon" is also quite famous on the Internet because of works such as "100,000 Cold Jokes", and in the print media and the Internet, it can be said that "Kuiba" has begun to have its own influence.
The content has been laid on multiple carriers, and on the publicity and scheduling, Bona has come to endorse them. It can be said that since the beginning of "Kuiba 2", Qingqingshu's publicity strategy for "Kuiba" has been clear, clear, and stable in advance. Thanks to such publicity and content laying, "Kuiba 2" won a total box office of 25.3 million, which is 5 times that of the previous game.
But this achievement is only a level that can recover the cost for "Kuiba 2". And in 2013, a total of 15 animated movies over 50 million box office, not to mention the monster "Crazy Primitive Man" that won nearly 400 million box office.
After a clear publicity and promotion plan, it still fails, and you can't just blame the market and the promotion of the pot. What was exposed in the defeat of "Kuiba 2" was the vague positioning of the work "Kuiba" and the lack of Qing Qingshu's ability to adjust the work.
Qingqing may have done his best to pave the way for their animated films, but they failed to recognize the fact that readers of novels and comics are not necessarily the same group of people as the audiences who walk into the theater.
Although a lot of comics and novels were paved, the market for comics at that time was not the same as today's.
In the "2018 China Animation Industry Research Report" of iResearch Research Institute, in the horizontal comparison of the development data of the animation industry in the past 5 years, it can be seen that the scale of China's pan-quadratic users in 2013 was 89 million, and the scale of online animation and comic reading users was even smaller, only about 22 million to 25 million.
Source: iResearch Research Institute"2018 China Animation Industry Research Report
The overall scale can only reach this order of magnitude, and the user's attention will be dispersed to different works on different platforms, so in the end, the audience base obtained by these comics may not be high. In addition, the readers of these comics may not all go to the cinema to watch movies, and the different carriers will inevitably lead to the loss of the audience.
As for the Book of Quibble, because the data on the novel is hard to find, it is difficult for me to have an accurate judgment. But judging from the response of "Kuiba 2", it is obvious that it has not attracted too many readers into the cinema.
Therefore, the preparation of "Kuiba 2" is not good, and readers of comics and novels may remember them, but they may not come to see the movie. In the end, if you want to make "Kuiba 2" successful, you still have to rely on passers-by audiences who do not know anything about this work.
And Qingqingshu obviously overestimated the impact that this series of foreshadowing can bring, and the story of "Kuiba 2" not only closely follows the previous game, but also adds a large number of new characters and settings, which come from many spin-off works, especially the setting encyclopedia "The Book of Kuiba". For example, "Kuiba Twelve Demons" is only a brief introduction in the story of "Kuiba 2", but this is far from enough.
The Twelve Demons of Kuiba
This is simply a work tailored to the core audience, bringing endless barriers to understanding. Audiences who have seen the previous game, if they have not seen the derivative works, there will be obstacles, and the previous work can only make them barely watch, but a large number of new characters and settings will only make them feel inexplicable.
For new audiences who have not even seen the previous game, this problem is more serious, because in addition to understanding the various settings of "pulse gate" and "pattern", they also have to force them to look at the plot with high relevance to the previous game without the premise of lacking knowledge of the previous game. Limited by the popularity of the previous game, this group of audiences who are difficult to understand the plot will undoubtedly be many.
Source: Douban @ Donggongzi
Qingqingshu did not see who the real audience of the film was, so that it overestimated the audience's ability to understand the work, and the lessons of history tell us that such a work will not have a good ending.
It is reasonable to say that the failure of the first two works, as well as the feedback left by the audience, should let Qingqingshu adjust in the next "Kuiba 3". However, instead of stopping to revise the work plan, they also accelerated the construction period and launched a sequel a year later.
The incomprehensible problems of the work itself are the same in the following "Kuiba 3".
"Kuiba 3" still follows the rhythm of the first two TV animations, and also enters the strange circle of setting before the story. The entire anime trilogy is about the crusade against Kuiba, interspersed with a display of the various forces in the Yuanyang Realm, allowing the important characters in the setting to appear. However, the story arrangement is very pale, and even the core contradiction that the protagonist Manji is Kuiba himself has never been detonated, and the narrative rhythm can be described as protracted.
Source: Douban "Kuiba 3" short evaluation area
What Qingqingshu doesn't realize is that what really underpins a movie is a complete and independent story. Instead, it still follows the idea that you have to watch the previous episode to watch the next episode, unfolding the worldview little by little, making the film for more than an hour fall apart, but the plot is slow to move. This means that the cognitive barriers brought about by each "Kuiba" are increasing, and each "Kuiba" is even more unfriendly to new audiences.
For nearly 20 years, the only thing that has been able to do this and succeed is EVA. But "Kuiba" is completely on par with "EVA". First of all, "EVA" has a fan base accumulated from the early TV animation and two old theatrical versions, and the golden sign of a generation of gods, in the past 20 years, it has continued to attract new audiences into the pit, and their audience's understanding of the work is extremely high, and it can even be said that although "EVA" has excellent commercial results, in essence, it is still a fan movie. Secondly, "EVA" starts from the new theatrical version of "Prologue", each work has a complete and independent story, the author is also carrying out a complete expression, the setting is only to assist the story to promote, is the real sense of the "theatrical version" animation, but each is related to each other.
And the problem of these works themselves, never seen Qingqingshu reflect in public statements, from the beginning to the end, the object of their throwing pot, is "propaganda". Behind this stubbornness of not admitting mistakes is a loneliness and isolation that is more fatal than the lack of industrial strength and the mistake of commercial strategy.
When "Kuiba" was born in 2011, it did have quite excellent quality and showed a good animation industry strength, which made them have a certain reputation in the industry, and even Masao Maruyama, the producer of "Millennium Actress" and "NANA", also visited Qingqingshu. This may give them the illusion that our work is impeccable and can succeed with the right commercial promotion.
Madhouse founder Masao Maruyama
The illusion of "the best in the industry" fills the entire company, and leaders are keen to draw big cakes for employees and preach illusory achievements, which is the reason for continuous pressure on all employees. The ordinary employees of Qingqingshu are often faced with endless overtime, lack of training, and neglected employee benefits, and they cannot find respect for people in the reality illuminated by the light of their dreams.
Many old fans of "Kuiba" must remember the fact that the comic "Kuiba's Dragon Knight" was cut off. This is an IP derivative comic work launched by Qingqingshu before and after the launch of "Kuiba", which has a good reputation in the demon atmosphere that arose at that time.
On the basis that the project leader Wang Chuan only provided the setting and plot framework, the two painters, Xiao Liushi and Demas, showed a very high level of painting and the ability to complete the details. Even compared to the big movies, many fans of "Kuiba" actually think that "Dragon Knight" is a better "Kuiba" work.
Source: Weibo @ Hattori Songzo
However, this work, which was suddenly cut off in 2012, caused an uproar in the fan circle of "Kuiba" at that time, and fans accused Qingqingshu of not ending a good work like this. Moreover, from the beginning, this work was updated under the support of the enthusiasm of the two painters almost "generating electricity with love", and when the plot of "Dragon Knight" gradually became better, cutting off this work and the emotions poured out by the two painters seemed to be a little too cold in the eyes of fans.
Source: Weibo @ Xiaoliushi
In the follow-up statement, wang Chuan, the project leader, showed a strong sense of superiority and inhumanity. He responded that Dragon Rider was only "paused", not a waist chop. And it also explains that this "suspension" is due to the fact that the work of "Dragon Knight" itself has hard wounds in story and character portrayal, as well as its poor market performance, and the suspension is only to restart with a better appearance. In the statement, on the surface, it is his own responsibility, but in the text, it implies that the two painters have insufficient ability, drag the draft, and make unfavorable remarks to Qingqingshu, and the real responsibility for the problem is also pushed to the "immature" author between the lines.
Source: Wang Chuan"Explanation of various problems in the "Kuiba" series of comics"
A few years later, in the personal public account run by Ms. Wu Hanqing, one of the founders of Qingqingshu, who died of cancer, the incident was also defined as the result of his excessive connivance with the two painters, saying that he had always wanted to protect the future development of the two painters without being too harsh on them. Although the deceased was large, it is difficult to say that the responsibility of the two leaders stops here.
Source: WeChat public account @ 577 self-reserved land, "[Reflection management] abuse of good people to do not do a good CEO"
In fact, Qingqingshu decided to cut off the Dragon Knight, obviously lacking consultation with the author, and Wang Chuan had not even met the two painters for half a year. Therefore, this statement full of Spring and Autumn brushwork not only failed to calm the anger of fans, but because of many practical mistakes, the crowd sentiment was even more turbulent.
The reader of "Dragon Knight" radish crisp also wrote a super long Weibo article "Kuiba's Dragon Knight" popularity data test, through extremely detailed data and in place analysis, one by one to refute Wang Chuan's remarks about the poor performance of the "Dragon Knight" market. He believes that Qingqingshu completely ignores the thriving data in "There is a Demon", but only because of the data in the "Comic SHOW" magazine, and judges the market performance of "Dragon Knight", such market research and operation is also "insufficient ability".
But this powerful rebuttal did not change the ending of "Dragon Knight" at all, and the comic was finally cut off in the name of "restart" and "suspension", and the two painters of Xiaoliushi and Demas became outcasts and left Qingqingshu. Their experience is a good reflection of the situation of grass-roots employees in the green trees.
On Weibo and Zhihu, there have always been voices of dissatisfaction with Qingqingshu as a company, whether it is employees or practitioners, Qingqingshu is not a good company in their eyes. "Isherlen's Wind" is a comic industry practitioner who once had a close cooperative relationship with Qingqingshu, a company, and he himself is a fan of the IP of "Kuiba", but even so, he sincerely advises others not to work in Qingqingshu on Weibo.
Animation to achieve the magnitude of a large movie, must rely on the coordination of a huge team, Qingqingshu's chairman Wang Chuan also said that the production of this work, just as a painter, you need more than 50. However, the situation faced by ordinary employees within Qingqingshu is already a highly unstable foundation for teamwork, and once it encounters setbacks, it is easy to lead to disintegration.
Sure enough, in 2014, the failure of "Kuiba 3" and the statement of the indefinite postponement of "Kuiba 4" directly caused Qingqingshu to lose a large number of employees. At the same time, at this point in time, Wu Hanqing, one of the main responsible persons of the company, entered a semi-off-the-job state because of the diagnosis of cancer. Previously, the internal management of Qingqing Company has been under the paternalistic control of Wu Hanqing, losing Wu Hanqing and encountering a wave of departures, and the operation of Qingqingshu has been chaotic.
I know that there is a name called "How about Qingqingshu Animation Technology Co., Ltd."? The question, under which the highest answer was given, was answered by Gao Meng, one of Qingqingshu's former management.
Around the Spring Festival in 2015, because Wu Hanqing entered a semi-detached state, it was proposed that Gao Meng serve as the ASSISTANT CEO and be responsible for part of the management work. According to his recollection, the internal management of Qingqingshu Company in the past six months was very chaotic, although Wu Hanqing let Gao Meng manage, but in fact, each department of the company at that time had its own management structure, and Wang Chuan and two board members were also in the decision-making level, and Wu Hanqing, who was half off the post, was always involved in the project, and the overall reporting relationship was quite unclear.
Half a year later, Gao Meng was transferred to another post, and judging from his answer and Wu Hanqing's recollection in the public account, the results of this half year's work made both sides very dissatisfied.
Gao Meng left his post three months after the transfer and wrote a resignation letter, pointing out various problems within Qingqingshu Company, such as "the prevalence of self-boasting, frequent mention of team achievements", "emphasizing the company's cultural heritage, ignoring respect for employees" and "gambling to find a way out, turning a blind eye to the difficulties of the status quo" and so on.
Wu Hanqing responded to this criticism in the public account, in her opinion that during Gao Meng's reign, all the company's plans were not promoted, various affairs were delayed, employees were quite critical, and so on. However, for the various problems pointed out by Gao Meng, he only dismissed Gao Meng as a "layman", and then began to personally attack Gao Meng, saying that he was "unable to face his weakness and low ability" directly.
Because Ms. Wu Hanqing will delete and sort out her own public account diary, this paragraph has deleted the relevant part of B Jun in the subsequent collation, so the screenshot of Gao Meng's answer is quoted here.
The high-level dispute was confirmed in Wu Hanqing's positive response, and Qingqingshu frequently changed CEOs since then, which is further evidence.
Gao Meng later took over the CEO's work by his former subordinate Wang Qi, in the mouths of Gao Meng and Wu Hanqing, this is a strong man who works with great intensity. In 2015, on the occasion of qingqingshu's 23rd anniversary, she announced the news of the restart of "Kuiba 4" and the next series of suspected developments of "Kuiba".
However, this workaholic, who has only been in the POSITION of CEO for two months, in the eyes of Wu Hanqing, she is an embarrassing successor, and after pouring resources into her, the result is "completely unnecessary blame for past trial and error and interpersonal entanglement." ”
In October 2015, Qingqingshu's CEO was changed to chairman Wang Chuan, and there was no more detailed information about the subsequent personnel changes. However, in the news reports after 2017, qingqingshu's CEO has become another director in the company, Du Jun.
The company's internal stubbornness and bitterness, outsiders have no way to do it, and most fans do not care about it. As long as you can still see "Kuiba", many people don't care what kind of company Qingqingshu is. But the internal disorder of Qingqingshu has obviously spread, making the launch of "Kuiba 4" become a fraud again and again.
2017 is the most exciting year for "Kuiba" fans in this decade.
Because this year is the year that "Kuiba 4" officially announced the restart.
On June 8, Qingqingshu Chairman Wang Chuan announced that in order to give investors confidence, it will launch crowdfunding for the restart of "Kuiba 4" on Modian. A certain fan base, coupled with the martyr sentiment of "the beginning of the business is not half and the middle road collapses", makes the crowdfunding process particularly smooth. The original goal was to raise 1 million in 2 months, but after 3 days, the crowdfunding amount had exceeded the target by twice. "Kuiba 4" was subsequently officially announced to be rebooted.
But behind this exciting news for fans, it is actually full of doubts.
As early as two years ago in September 2015, perhaps under the influence of "The Return of the Great Sage", Qingqingshu had completed an investment of nearly 100 million yuan led by Tianfeng Securities.
That is to say, two years before the crowdfunding, Qingqingshu already had enough financial resources to produce "Kuiba 4". In addition, as mentioned in the previous article, in 2015, Qingqingshu actually restarted "Kuiba 4", and the CEO Wang Qi at the time also bluntly said that it was expected to be released in 2018, and there was a series of "beautiful imaginations" such as cooperation with Marvel. In Gao Meng's Zhihu answer, it is also stated that when he left his post in 2015, "Kuiba 4" has begun production.
The project that has been restarted, restarted again, and on this basis to raise money from fans, can only be understood as that the financing of nearly 100 million yuan has been burned out by Qingqingshu, this time it is to pull another investment by selling feelings.
However, even so, in the video on the crowdfunding page, there is no valid information about "Kuiba 4", and what is even more unexpected is that this is the last exact news about "Kuiba 4" that fans can know. In the 4 years since then, every year there are rumors that "Kuiba 4" may be released, and every year it is a wind and shadow.
Some people even think that Qingqingshu has rolled up money and run away, and the so-called crowdfunding is nothing more than a fraud against fans.

Originally, Qingqingshu was able to dispel the doubts of fans through continuous community operation, and maintain the enthusiasm and expectations of fans for the work. After all, there can be such crowdfunding heat, and the fans of "Kuiba" have obviously reached the level of "people's hearts are available".
But in fact, Qingqingshu not only never released the relevant news of "Kuiba 4", but also was silent to the point of nearly rotting in terms of community operation. In 2017, the official channels of "Kuiba" and Qingqingshu, whether it is Weibo, official website, public number or B station, the activity is outrageously low. Often it's two months to update a feed, or even longer.
Not only that, Qingqingshu's official website has even been completely shut down, and fans want to focus on discussing the story of Kuiba and the demon heroes, and they also rely on the fan-built website "Demon Hero Capital".
The protagonist of the movie "Kuiba" is Manji, who has a line that has deeply touched many fans - "As long as you are alive, you will never admit defeat." For "Kuiba", this sentence is already close to the existence of the spiritual totem. When Qingqingshu restarted "Kuiba 4", he also used this sentence in promotional copywriting for a time.
However, after "Kuiba 3", Qingqingshu is still alive, but they may have conceded defeat. Where the next "Kuiba" will go, they may not care much.
At the beginning of this year, "The Special Journey of Kuiba" is the only official animation work in many years, but the painting of characters that often collapses, and the 2D to 3D of the same kind, tells us that there has been no progress in the animation industry of Qingqingshu in recent years. In just 7 episodes, only the story of the first four generations of Kuiba is told, and it is difficult to say that he told a good story.
Nowadays, the live-action version of the movie "Kuiba No Yu Mi Madness" has slapped the fans who are still looking forward to it.
Does Qingqing really want to restart Kuiba 4? Yes, but apparently they don't have the same enthusiasm they had when they first started.
The advent of "Kuiba" brought them a dream of "domestic light", repeated commercial failures, but did not let them wake up from the dream and reflect on their own root problems. Instead, he let himself be saddled with the "sacrificial will of the seeker" and continued the wrong path. However, dreams cannot be exchanged for white rice, let alone an illusory bubble, employees leaving, the company is in chaos, new fraud, and then living on their own.
Perhaps, in the end, "Kuiba 4" can be released, but today's Qingqingshu is no longer trustworthy.
