At that time, a friend in the circle told me that there was a competition about street dance, so I rushed to Leshan with a curious attitude to see it, but no one expected that it was this game that strengthened the direction of learning street dance.

After a year, I participated in the first hip-hop competition in my life, when I was still in my sophomore year of high school, I went to win the championship the day before, and the next day I came back in my friend's car to continue the class, which felt quite magical.
But because street dance was not yet popular at that time, and naturally there were no professional teachers, we could only watch Nam Hyun-joon's video while thinking about it ourselves. At that time, there was no dance classroom, and after school, I would go to the public square to play music and dance by myself, no matter what others said, it was a blind dance.

After the competition, I slowly integrated with everyone and had a clearer goal for my transformation and positioning. Although it means that I have to give up my folk dance major, I am still grateful for the basic skills I mastered during my college years because I studied folk dance.

It's street dance", although I am not a battle-type player, but I also rushed to the brain, and I thought about the competition, I wanted to learn and broaden my knowledge.

There are two reasons why I like dancing: the first is because of the breakdancing trend of the 80s, and the other is the spacewalk that Michael Jackson was all the rage of the year. But unfortunately, no one taught me until 2002, when I saw a dance program on CCTV: Dance World, and I was really attracted to dance.

One episode is a hip-hop session, and there is a group called "New Dance Instrument", which is composed of four members: Mu Lin, Hu Mang, Li Qi and Bai Rui. I especially appreciated Bai Rui's dancing style, and I also studied a lot of it myself. In 2005, because of the choreography of a competition, I finally met Bai Rui from offstage, and he made me learn a lot of things and understand street dance more deeply. Since then, I have been formally exposed to hip-hop.

When I came back, I found that everyone was still stuck in the old-school street dance mode, and there were few choreographers. I've been working on that since then, especially when DEE/RIEHATA puts old-school elements to something new today, and they use currently popular elements and some popular music. The change of hip-hop has made a good transformation, which has also had a great impact on me and made my dance style unique.
I am a native of Chengdu, Chengdu is a city with less economic pressure, unlike Beijing, where everyone is rushing to make a living. When I was in Beijing, I was very stressed at work, and the class schedule was very full every week, about 16-18 lessons a week. At that time, the place where I lived was also far away, and I went out in the morning to wait for home at 10 o'clock at night, and the pace of life was very fast.
But in fact, all culture is actually linked to the economy, precisely because of the low price of Chengdu, the pressure is slightly less. This also determines that Chengdu people are willing to understand all the culture, spiritual pursuits, and all beautiful things except life, it can be said that the slow pace of Chengdu is more conducive to incubating the development of local street dance culture and the cultivation of atmosphere.
