After the September 18 Incident, under the guidance and support of the Northeast People's Anti-Japanese Salvation Congress, under the influence and impetus of Deng Tiemei, Miao Kexiu and others, a triangular anti-Japanese zone west of the Anfeng Railway, east of the South Manchuria Railway, and north of the Yellow Sea was formed.
On December 26, 1931, Deng Tiemei led his troops to fight the first battle of the Northeast People's Self-Defense Army against Japan - the night attack on Phoenix City. This campaign not only destroyed the pseudo-vigilante association and the western suburban prisons, and released nearly a hundred patriotic people, but also broke up the pseudo-police force and occupied the railway station, which effectively dealt a blow to the arrogance of Japanese imperialism and greatly encouraged the fighting spirit of the anti-Japanese masses.
On September 11, 1932, Deng Tiemei led his troops into the Dragon King Temple. During his stay at the Dragon King Temple, his headquarters set up 8 departments such as government affairs, ordnance, and military supplies, and also planned to establish the Longyuan County Government, set up 5 bureaus such as police, taxation, and education, and units such as garment factories and printing plants, and issued paper money "Northeast People's Self-Defense Army General Banknotes". The Dragon King Temple became the political, economic and military center of the Triangular Anti-Japanese Zone for a time.

The tragic struggle behind MeSince
In the municipal archives, there is a letter sent more than 80 years ago, although it is mottled and yellowed, but it is the treasure of the town museum.
The main text of the letter is a perfectly normal family letter, the record is only the parent's short, and turned to the back, with iodine wine on the paper, there is a dark red text - "Grief, grief, I will report to you a very sad news, Deng Tiemei was captured by the puppet army on the night of april 19 in the old calendar..."
This letter was sent by Miao Kexiu to Yan Baohang, a member of the Northeast People's Anti-Japanese Salvation Congress, and others, and detailed the process of Deng Tiemei's arrest.

"Of Miao Kexiu's surviving letters, four are secret letters, all addressed to the Northeast people in Beiping who resisted the Japanese Salvation Congress." Huang Wenke, former deputy director of the Municipal History Office, said that the content of the secret letter written by Miao Kexiu is of extremely important value to the study of the history of the anti-Japanese resistance in the Triangle Region.
In the summer of 1932, Miao Kexiu came from Peiping to the triangular anti-Japanese zone where artillery fire was raging, and served as the general counselor of the 28th Route Army of the Northeast People's Self-Defense Army and the chief of education of the officer school. According to Miao Kexiu's secret letter, it was Deng Tiemei and others who led the Northeast People's Self-Defense Army in the course of the arduous struggle in the triangle anti-Japanese area.

After the September 18 Incident, Deng Tiemei, who had been the police chief of Fengcheng County, went to Jinzhou to visit Huang Xiansheng, a patriotic general of the Northeast Army, and asked for advice on the anti-Japanese rescue plan, and Huang Xiansheng suggested that he return to the Phoenix area to carry out the struggle. In October of that year, Deng Tiemei secretly sneaked back, gathered former police subordinates and friends, and quickly organized an armed force of more than 200 people, called the Northeast People's Self-Defense Army. In less than a month, the team grew to 1,500 people.
On the night of December 26, 1931, Deng Tiemei commanded the Self-Defense Forces to attack Phoenix In three ways, destroying the Japanese secret service Hirai Pharmacy, breaking up the pseudo-police team, annihilating the Japanese troops at the railway station, and demolishing the railway at the north and south ends of the station, blocking Japanese reinforcements from the direction of Andong and Jiguanshan. In this battle, the Self-Defense Forces annihilated more than 50 enemies and captured a large number of weapons. The Shengjing Times, published on December 27 of that year, reported: "Phoenix was attacked, communications were interrupted, and the situation was serious. ”

After that, Deng Tiemei led his troops to successively launch major battles such as outwitting the Sanyi Temple, raiding Loess Kan, sneaking attacks on Qujiadian, attacking the Dragon King Temple, and besieging dagushan Mountain, which effectively dealt a blow to the Japanese puppet army.
The road of anti-Japanese unity between the military and the people
After many battles with the Japanese puppet army, Deng Tiemei fully realized that it was necessary to find a place that could be stationed for a long time to develop and expand the team, and the Dragon King Temple, an important commercial and trade town in the Triangle District, became the first choice.
"Backed by the Great Ocean River, facing the Yellow Sea to the south, you can attack and retreat." Zhou Huanwu, former director of the cultural station in Donggang City's Dragon King Temple Town, said that since ancient times, the Dragon King Temple has been a place where soldiers and families must compete, with merchants and merchants gathering and an economically developed economy.
On September 11, 1932, Deng Tiemei led his troops into the Dragon King Temple, and the headquarters was located in the courtyard of The Dragon King Temple Chamber of Commerce, Pan Zixu, the business name Wan ShunXiang.

The gunshots on the banks of the Ocean River are far away, and the bullet marks of the old house are still there. 89 years later, when the reporter walked on the old street where the former site of Deng Tiemei's headquarters was located, he could still feel the atmosphere of the war of resistance that was surging in those years.
"The old houses were all there, the front house was the clothing factory, there was the quartermaster warehouse, and this house was a money printing workshop." Zhou Huanwu was familiar with the old houses around Deng Tiemei's headquarters.
During the period when the Northeast People's Self-Defense Army was stationed at the Dragon King Temple, its headquarters consisted of 8 departments, including staff officers, government affairs, adjutants, secretaries, ordnance, quartermasters, military law, and military doctors. The Longyuan County Government, which Deng Tiemei planned to set up, was the first anti-Japanese anti-Japanese government established by the anti-Japanese volunteer army in the Liaodong Anti-Japanese Triangle Region; the county government set up five bureaus, including police, taxation, salary and donation, lithography, and education; it also set up military and civilian newspapers, weapons factories, clothing factories, printing factories, quartermaster office warehouses, and other units, issued paper money "Northeast People's Self-Defense Army General Banknotes," printed the "Military and Civilian Daily," and the Dragon King Temple became the political, economic, and military center of the Triangle Anti-Japanese Zone for a time.
It is worth mentioning that Zou Dapeng, who served as the chief of the administrative affairs office of the 8 major departments of Deng Tiemei's headquarters, was appointed by the Manchurian Province of the CPC to serve in Deng Tiemei's department, and his representative of the CPC promoted the idea of political army building in Deng's department, which had a huge impact.
He suggested that Deng Tiemei conduct political and ideological education for officers and men and strictly enforce discipline, such as achieving the "four noes": not hitting people, not cursing people, not disturbing people, and not bullying people. Everywhere the Self-Defense Forces went, they first found buckets and brooms when they entered people's houses, never picked up food and drink, and it was common to live in warehouses and mills. Therefore, the masses in the Triangle Anti-Japanese Zone were very supportive of this team, calling them the "Cold Rice Brigade."
During the period of stationing at the Dragon King Temple, the Self-Defense Forces took over several salt flats on the Yellow Coast under their control, produced a large amount of salt, and used this as the principal to issue military banknotes and circulate them in the anti-Japanese area, and the merchants in the anti-Japanese area could take military banknotes to the salt flats to exchange salt for the local people. In the autumn of 1932, natural disasters occurred in Jianshan Kiln and Erdaoyanghe and other places, and the peasants were in short supply of grain, so the Self-Defense Army purchased more than 200,000 kilograms of grain in Longwangmiao, Beijingzi and other places, and organized vehicles to transport them to the disaster area in a timely manner, thus solving the urgent needs of the disaster victims.

It is precisely because of the establishment of a deep affection for the local people, under the close supervision of the Japanese and pseudo-police, that the local people have risked their lives and enthusiastically donated money and grain to support the Self-Defense Army. In May 1934, Deng Tiemei fell ill and was secretly sent to a relative's home to recuperate, but was betrayed by traitors. On the night of May 29, Deng Tiemei was arrested. During the interrogation, a Japanese officer held a folding fan in his hand to ask him to write an inscription, and he wrote with a stroke of his pen: "What a six-foot body is a pity, and when the four provinces lose land." On the night of September 28 of that year, Deng Tiemei was secretly killed at the age of 43.
In its "Letter to All Compatriots for Resisting Japan and Saving the Country" published on August 1, 1935, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China referred to Deng Tiemei as "a national hero who sacrificed his life to save the country." In November 1935, the Cpc Committee of South Manchuria named a team based on Deng Tiemei's old department as the "Tiemei Detachment".
The spirit of struggle imprinted in red
At the end of 1932 and the beginning of 1933, the first "crusade" of the Japanese puppet army, the twenty-eighth route army was sharply reduced to 4,000 people, at this time, Miao Kexiu realized that to maintain the protracted anti-Japanese struggle, it is necessary to build a new type of armed force with firm thinking, discipline, and courage to fight. In March 1933, Miao Kexiu initiated the establishment of the Twenty-eighth Army Einsatzgruppen. In February of the following year, Miao Kexiu summoned the backbone members of the Einsatzgruppen to secretly establish the Chinese Young Predator Army, and it was not until after Deng Tiemei's death that the Chinese Young Iron-Blooded Army made it public and independently carried out anti-Japanese armed struggle.
At this time, Miao Kexiu had gradually grown from a polite college student to an outstanding leader of the Anti-Japanese Volunteer Army who made the Japanese army frightened.
Late at night on June 12, 1935, Miao Kexiu was wounded in battle, and on June 21, he fell into the clutches of the Japanese army. On July 25, Miao Kexiu was escorted to the Fengcheng Nanshan Execution Ground. On the execution ground, Miao Kexiu was fearless, stood with his head held high, angrily looked at the enemy, and sacrificed his life for the country, only 29 years old.
Heroes live through the ages, and great festivals inspire future generations. At the foot of Nanshan Mountain on the outskirts of Fengcheng, there is a monument inscribed with the words "Deng Tiemei Miao Kexiu Immortal"; in Fengcheng District, two streets running through the north and south and east and west of the city are named "Deng Tiemei Road" and "Miao Kexiu Street"...

In early summer, walking in the countryside of Longwangmiao Town, the blueberry strawberry greenhouses on both sides of the road are endless, quite imposing. Sun Zhiyuan, a villager in Wulong Village, has two blueberry greenhouses at home, and although he earns a lot of money a year, he is not satisfied with the status quo, but extends his tentacles to the e-commerce sales of blueberry strawberries.
Sun Zhiyuan told reporters that it is almost the end of the blueberry strawberry sales season, but every day he can still sell more than 1,000 kilograms of blueberry strawberries through the network and accumulated old customers, and sell tens of thousands of kilograms to Guangdong, Beijing and other places every day in the peak season. In the past two years, Sun Zhiyuan, who has done a good job in the e-commerce industry, has not forgotten to use his experience to lead the villagers to run a well-off, he teaches villagers how to use mobile phones and computers to sell online, so that more villagers can sell their products to all parts of the country.
In a blueberry industrial park in the SandTuo Group of Dragon King Temple Village, a shed of blueberries is fruitful, a cluster of fruits with white frost is hanging from the branches, and workers are sorting, measuring, boxing and preparing for delivery of blueberries. Tang Hongwei, the operator of the park, told reporters that there are more than 20 blueberry greenhouses in the park, and although the warm shed blueberry sales season is coming to an end, it can still sell more than 2,500 kilograms to Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places every day.

Tang Hongwei, 55 years old, used to be fishing for ships at sea, and with the increase in the protection of national marine fishery resources, he turned around and transferred more than 110 acres of land here to build a blueberry park. "The small berries industry is much better than the days of fear in the wind and rain at sea." Tang Hongwei said that in addition to selling his own blueberries, he also buys blueberries from surrounding farmers, which can sell tens of thousands of kilograms a day at most.
Tang's magnificent blueberry park is only one of the 160 blueberry industrial parks in Longwangmiao Town.
It is understood that in recent years, the town has focused on the development of blueberries and strawberries with the concept of intensive and efficient, concentrated contiguous and scale advancement, and strengthened the "doubleberry" economy, with a total area of facility agriculture reaching more than 14,000 mu and an annual output value of more than 180 million yuan. Among them, the blueberry planting area is nearly 4,000 mu, and Longwangmiao Town has become the largest blueberry production base in donggang area.
The "double berry" industry in Longwangmiao Town has continued to grow and develop under the guidance of leaders like Sun Zhiyuan and Tang Hongwei.
