Many people know her, an old lady who played a fluent Tangshan dialect in 1995 in CCTV Spring Evening and Gong Hanlin's sketch "So Packaged". She is remembered for her witty and humorous performance and solid performance basics.
In 1996, Zhao Lirong and Gong Hanlin cooperated again to apply for a job at a large hotel in the sketch "The Adventure of Part-time Work" to expose the true face of the manager who deceived customers. And I was also impressed by Teacher Zhao's last sketch in 1999, "The Veteran Comes Out", which was the last time Teacher Zhao appeared on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. As we all know, Teacher Zhao died of lung cancer at 7:30 a.m. on July 17, 2000 at the age of 72. But did you know? At the time of performing "The Veteran Out of the Horse", Teacher Zhao had already detected advanced lung cancer.
