Qualifications for the finals are very demanding, and one of the following three requirements is required to participate: the player must be in the top 24 of the VCL national standings, the champion of the city standings this season, or the champion of the city races this season.
VCL's 48 regular season games will end in early December 2019. At the same time, the champion swordsmen of 12 cities will also be produced. These elite swordsmen will go to Shencheng to compete for the first VCL "Individual Champion of the Year" award.
In addition, the finals also set up a cohesive "City Team Competition", each city is based on the sword type, the strongest representatives of the 6 age groups from U8 to 17+ are selected to form a city team to compete with other cities for the "Champion Team" trophy.
