Nanchong News Network News (Nanchong Daily All-Media Reporter Li Shuangzao) On the morning of October 11, the launching ceremony of the 2021 National Cyber Security Publicity Week in Nanchong was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of the Library of China West Normal University (Huafeng Campus). Liao Xuemei, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the launching ceremony and announced the official launch of the Cyber Security Publicity Week.
In her speech, Liao Xuemei affirmed the achievements made in the city's network security work in recent years. She pointed out that all departments and units at all levels in the city should deeply study and publicize the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on network security, further enhance the awareness of network security, build a solid network security bottom line, and jointly push network security work to a new stage of development.
Liao Xuemei demanded that we should persist in extensively participating in building security, thoroughly implement the "two responsibility systems" of network ideology and network security, and take the network security publicity week as an opportunity to create a strong atmosphere in which everyone has the responsibility and participation of everyone in network security; we must persist in jointly grasping and jointly managing and protecting security, and promote the whole society to create a safe, orderly, positive, and healthy network cultural environment; we must persist in purifying space to ensure security, actively promote the rule of law in cyberspace, and earnestly safeguard good network order and the legitimate rights and interests of the vast number of netizens; we must persist in building a solid defense line to guard security. Accelerate the construction of a network security guarantee system for critical information infrastructure, strengthen network security monitoring and early warning inspections, and effectively safeguard national security, public safety, and social order; we must persist in promoting development and enjoying security, vigorously cultivate and develop the network security industry, support the research and application of network security technologies, let Internet organizations better serve the masses, serve society, and promote development, and provide strong network security guarantees for the construction of the northern central city of Chengdu and Chongqing and the creation of a sub-center of the province's economy.
Zhang Zejun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of China West Normal University, attended the launching ceremony and delivered a speech; Gu Liyong, deputy director of the Cyber Security Department of the Provincial Internet Emergency Response Center, gave a special lecture; comrades in charge of the Municipal Cyberspace Administration and the Municipal Public Security Bureau spoke on network security work; and the responsible person of the Nanchong Internet Federation and representatives of Xihua Normal University students made an initiative speech. Attending the launching ceremony were relevant departments and units directly under the municipal government, the propaganda departments of the party committees of various counties (cities and districts), the Cyberspace Administration of The People's Republic of China, the responsible comrades of the Propaganda Departments of colleges and universities stationed in the city and the cities, as well as teachers and students of some colleges and universities, and relevant personnel of key news media.
