PIKO introduced the HO (1/87) ratio S499/240 series electric locomotive, the prototype of the series of locomotives is a particularly prominent high-speed electric locomotive produced by the Czechoslovak company Škoda in 1962, the round front and curved large glass are important identification marks for the series of electric locomotives, after 1988 the S499 model was renumbered as the 240 series.
