Xiao Jie, 60, the current secretary of the party group and minister of the Ministry of Finance, has been continuously disclosed in his new position.
On November 2, the official website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security released the news that the State Council had appointed and dismissed state employees, and Xiao Jie was appointed deputy secretary-general of the State Council.

A day earlier, on November 1, the official website of the Working Committee for Central State Organs disclosed the change in the leadership of the Working Committee, and Xiao Jie succeeded Yang Jing as the secretary of the Working Committee of the Central State Organs.
Xiao Jie's resume provided on the official website has shown that xiao Jie took over as the secretary of the working committee at the same time, and the new secretary of the party group and deputy secretary general of the State Council organs. In addition to the party secretary and minister of the Ministry of Finance who has not yet stepped down, Xiao Jie currently holds five positions.

This readjustment is xiao Jie's return to the State Council organs after a gap of one year.
On November 7, 2016, the Minister of Finance was replaced. Lou Jiwei ended more than three years as finance minister, and Xiao Jie became the new finance minister. Prior to that, Xiao Jie was a deputy secretary-general of the State Council at the level of a minister, and also served as the deputy secretary of the party group of the State Council organs. After returning a year later, Xiao Jie's position changed, from deputy secretary of the party group of the organ to secretary of the party group of the organ.

Among them, Ding Xuexiang, Chen Xi, Guo Shengkun, Huang Kunming, You Quan and other 5 people have successively ushered in job adjustments in the past week. The work departments of Ding Xuexiang, Chen Xi, and Huang Kunming have not changed, and they have been promoted from the executive deputy posts of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee respectively.
You Quan was one of the nine provincial party secretaries who entered the central leadership collective at the First Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, and after being elected, he stepped down as secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and was succeeded by Yu Weiguo, the governor of Fujian Province. Before becoming secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, You Quan served as deputy secretary general of the State Council and deputy secretary of the party group of the organ, and he served in the General Office of the State Council from 1988 to 2000 as deputy secretary general of the State Council, until 2012, when he went to Fujian to serve (from 2006 to 2008, he briefly served as the State Electricity Regulatory Commission).
Yang Jing is also a state councilor, which is the second concurrently held position adjustment of state councilor disclosed on November 1. China's Chang'an Network disclosed on the same morning that the Ministry of Public Security held a party committee (expanded) meeting on October 31, and Zhao Kezhi, secretary of the party committee of the Ministry of Public Security, presided over the meeting and made a speech. The secretary of the party committee of the Ministry of Public Security was formerly concurrently served by State Councilor Guo Shengkun. Zhao Kezhi also became the fourth party secretary of the Ministry of Public Security to be transferred from provincial party secretary.
