Orlando, Florida, USA, finally ushered in the first post-epidemic pride parade "Come Out With Orlando Pride" on 10/9 this weekend. Around 100 different groups walk along to the city center with the parade, and there are related celebrations at Eola Lakeside Park.
All those who wish to participate in the park must register in advance, as organizers want to keep an eye on the number of attendees during the pandemic.

This year's parade, held under the pandemic, began with live performances in the park and ended with an evening fireworks show. This is the second time orlando has hosted a physical Pride festival since 2019, featuring drag queen Kylie Sonique Love, Gottmik and the Orlando Gay Choir.
People who joined the orlando Fringe Festival said, "I walked with my best friends and friends, and we were both participating in the parade for the first time. I only came out a year ago, and the support she showed me was beyond my expectations of friendship."
A group called OnePulse can also be seen in the parade to commemorate the lives lost in the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting. Walking in this year's parade, a cloth strip was held that listed the faces and names of the deceased.
Mick, a member of the march, said: "Orlando as a city, it has repeatedly amazed me. It's not just beautiful on the outside, there are a lot of beautiful people here, and I mean the beauty of their hearts."
Jae Dawson, who also participated in the parade for the first time, said: "This is my first time and I enjoy every moment!" Whether it's a parade, a show, a vendor, everything is fascinating. It's a good thing to see so many people coming out and doing it. There is no criticism here, only love! I can't wait to participate again next year!"
Joe Adorno, who joined the parade with friends, said: "The beauty of Pride is inclusivity. Everyone is welcome here, and everyone can celebrate their uniqueness here."
Another participant, Marissa, said, "Orlando Pride is an experience I will never forget! The atmosphere here shows charm and acceptance. It's great to be in a place where you feel like you belong. This is a place where you can be your true self and not feel criticized."
She further said, "There are many people in the world who despise LGBTQ+ people, but Orlando Pride gives everyone involved an atmosphere of love and kindness. Thank you Orlando for providing such an amazing and unforgettable experience!"
David Arce said, "Orlando is my home, and seeing the whole city come together, so many volunteers, and partners celebrate this community makes my home more united." He went on to say, "We celebrate Hispanic Heritage month and Pride Day. I'm connected to both, both of which were greatly affected by the tragedy that happened at Pulse five years ago. But the hateful acts of that time also aroused a lot of love, because I now see a more united city, and all the good is about to begin."
